A question about Conquest style battles for when the arc rolls around. Was it ever decided what to do with moves for individual Pokemon with that and how many can be used in battle?

"Don't worry, murder is a sign of affection." - An amalgamation of Dunsparce-Pats Daisy- Perhaps you can hang out with my chars for a bit? Most of them are in Olivine.
Crow: Not sure, but due to *some* battle system diffrences being acceptable, I imagine we aren't limited to spamming one move.

Contact Me!Sorry about that, Daisy. I was trying to interact with you, yesterday, but my computer's battery died. -pats-
As for Conquest...yeah, I'm going to have to say you're limited to one move, at least most of the time. Because Conquest battles should be conducted with multiple Pokemon on the field, in general. Since there can be up to 12 Pokemon on the field at once, the strategy is in choosing a diverse range of Pokemon to cover your weaknesses, instead of a single Pokemon with diverse moves.
That said, you can choose the move at the start of the battle, much like we do now. And one-on-one Conquest battles (which I anticipate will happen now and then) can play out similarly to modern Pokemon battles, since they're the original inspiration, at least in terms of chronology.
Hmm...speaking of moves...would anyone be especially upset if TMs didn't exist in the Conquest era? So Pokemon can't learn any of their TM moves. They can still learn their Natural movesets (duh), their Tutor movesets, their Breeding movesets (assuming their parents don't only learn them through TMs), and the move they have in Conquest, if it doesn't fit into any of the previous categories.
I saw somewhere a rather clever idea that T Ms instead of disks were scrolls, seem like it could fit in this.
Hmm...I prefer Crow's.
The thing about T Ms is that they're very artificial. Scroll's are more like tutor moves than TMs.
So since Trip's gonna get Hasslemon...

@Trip A note, though, unless Trip has all his mons with him right now, you're going to need to find a way to get it to the ones not with him for them to use it.
And did you forget about titles for Guile and Alakazam or are they not going to use Hasslemon?
And which species is Beetz?
And as for Rosemary... I've got nothing

We need to get ready for Rt AU.
I'm of the opinion that the main body of the arc *doesn't* need much planning: we have the overall we're supposed to be working towards, there are enough of us that this should be pretty much enough, with everyone playing off each other and reacting to each other and major NP Cs, along with our individual plans.
BUT. The prologue needs to be hammered out. As far as I've been told, it's mostly going to be an individual thing, where everyone writes out their own prologue. I think all we really need to do here is make sure they don't contradict each other.
The other thing I think we need to do is set the stage. What happens to set it all off, and what happens immediately afterwards? Where do most rebel groups set up? Where is the army? How big is it? Are communications being established? Where are the dragons strongest?
Stuff like this. As the chat seems to lend itself to getting derailed whenever this happens, I put this here. This is the Discussion thread after all... So, discuss!
Victory! Honor! Destiny! Mutton!Straw not dying sounds good. :P
Here's mine:
After Ecruteak is hit with the bombs, Helen and her uncle use their knowledge of the surrounding wilderness (gathered by their mapmaking business) to guide people out of the city to safety. Afterwards, a few of the refugees and their Pokemon form a rebel force based outside Ecruteak, that Helen ends up joining.
I also planned for Helen to send out messages via Flying types to look for some of the other J-Team members (specifically, Wolf, Steven, and Tagg), to see what they intend to do about the situation. This is the part I most worried about, so let me know if that's not okay.
And then basically for the rest of the arc, she plays mercenary, going from rebel group to rebel group with Katan and Epona, to help out, eventually adopting the name "Harpe".
Victory! Honor! Destiny! Mutton!RTAU plans
AU!Every, along with most of his team, have taken up residence somewhere in Unova, though I am not sure where.
All but Nylon and Blobble have left him, partly at his insistence and partly for their own reasons. During whatever timeframe the Unova invasion takes place, Every will probably head for Nimbasa to hide in whatever is left of the Battle Subway.
Dunsparce didn't stop being a thing or anything.RtAU Plans
Still up in the air, but I do know AU!Tagg will be with AU!Tracer a lot.

Hugging a Vanillite will give you frostbite. My plans:
Prologue
- Umbra is stuck in that orb, when a certain something appears in a dream and gives him some OU memories.
- He is then broken out by Lina and his mons.
- Cue montage of acclimation to society and Mon gets.
- Cut to present and diffrent characters, as AU!Alduin preps for his new world order.
Arc Proper
- Bombings start, Seish and Fuu take down some jet fighters trying to stop the airships.
- All characters mostly go with the flow for the rest of the arc, though I have a few scenes planned, particularly a couple with Fuu and Seish.
- Gino helps troll Hoenn occupation.
- Main priorities are: Seish + Fuu, then AU!Alduin, then everyone else.
- Arc climax involves AU!Alduin shifting to OU!Personality after a trigger.
Aftermath
- Draconic punishments; Alduin is put in Umbra's care with several major restrictions, while Seish and Fuu are punted to.the OU with a stricter version of the Vow (After a multiversal "road trip from hell" just to troll them.)
Thoughts, questions, concerns, and such are appreciated as always.
