What would a Turtle howling even sound like?

[up][up] Something really nasty sounding.

I haven't decided on which attacks I should have my Sinnoh team know aside from the four moves they know in-game. They will obviously know all the attacks they learn by level-up, but I haven't decided on what other moves I could give them.

Are there no TM, Egg, or tutor moves you want them to know?

Maybe, but I haven't really decided on which TM and move tutor moves (other than the ones they already know) they should know.

Do you really need them to learn any other moves besides their level-up moves?

They wouldn't cover their weaknesses very well if they only knew their level up moves.

Well, their in-game counterparts' move-sets are:

HotStuff: Flare blitz, close combat, thunder punch and earthquake.

Briar Rose: Energy ball, sludge bomb, leech seed and shadow ball.

Wings: Cross poison, fly, zen headbutt and x-scissor.

Sparq/Wally: Discharge, thunder wave, super fang and seed bomb.

Velvet: Psychic, morning sun, shadow ball and signal beam.

Silvermist: Surf, aqua ring, toxic and ice beam.

Hmm. I'm not sure what to suggest really. Those are some pretty good move-sets.

All of my Pokémon know their level up move-sets, along with any suitable TM, HM and tutor moves (For example: Lake knows Ice Punch and Woolly knows Focus Blast). Generally I just give them any moves I feel would be useful.

I don't tend to use egg moves though. Except in special cases.

Gaia: Rock Climb, Giga Drain, Earthquake, Crunch

Luxray: Thunder, Thunderbolt, Crunch, Strength

Garchomp: Dragon Rush, Crunch, Dig, some move I can't remember

Roc: Fly, Close Combat, Steel Wing, Defog

So, I guess I only really need to add the rest of the level-up moves to my Sinnoh team, and possibly blast burn for HotStuff. (I might also give Velvet calm mind since I had an Espeon in Pokémon Pearl with calm mind)

[up] That could work (Though I don't think Blast Burn would be a good idea). I was thinking of giving Luxray Wild Charge since he can learn that naturally. I could also give Gaia Seed Bomb.

Discussing what other moves beyond the in-game movesets that the Pokémon's RP counterparts can know.

Well, the move-sets I posted are the ones that the game equivalents of my RP team have. But my RP team know them too, along with the rest of their level up movesets.

Whenever I battle, I just open a new tab on Serebii and look up the page of whatever 'mon I'm fighting with, and choose whatever move works best. I think I actually decided on four definite moves for Hecate at one point, but everyone else is just "eh, whatever works/what they have in the game".

Because you tend not to worry too much about stuff like that.
