I guess we do need more Double and Triple Battle abilities, especially ones that actually have a use to people.

Indeed! They're nice, especially in brawls~

Personally, if it's gonna end up being a Double/Triple/Rotation Battle thing, we could drop the cap. It's not like the mon won't be at risk while setting it up.

I also support it being a Double/triple battle thing if it happens at all.

It could also build up to a C Mo A in the event of a big "all of the good guys vs all of the bad guys" battle :3

Don't really have an opinon on it, but I suppose the concept of the ability is at least somewhat interesting.

Oh, and glad you liked chapter 5 of my fanfic, Wolf. smile

(In other news, I got Pokemon Conquest today! Haven't started playing yet, though.)

(And I hope you like Conquest.)

wiki page on a proper sign up procedure

in regards to the move thing, I'd say you can have the mons know moves they can know in game. No fake moves, no TCG moves, and no crazy event pokemon moves. And if it is a Smeargle, they can't know all superpowerful moves.

If its a move introduced into the RP canon, like bubble shield, then they can't start with it, they have to be taught it throughout the course of the RP, as well.

Straw: Nearly all of the event moves are on Legendaries anyway.

Additionaly, they probably need to not start out with "special" mons like Deltas. Shinies are probably fine, though.

Not too many though. If they want their starter to be a shiny Pidgey, for example, that's fine, but not a whole team of them.

Shadow Mons are a no too, just because of how they work and the fact that they are difficult to purify when not in Orre. I don't seen anything wrong with Shadow Pokemon as a mon's backstory though. Not sure about others.

There's an established one-Shiny-per-trainer limit, as a reminder.

When was this limit added? Because I can think of at least one RPer who breaks it.

Do not fear power... fear those who wield it.

Yeah, I don't see why we need one.

Having shiny mons doesn't seem to be so important as to be necessary to limit. Coloration doesn't seem to imply any type of superiority over others of the same species (unless you were going for a character with a god complex).

I don't think shinies are a problem either, I just think if we open it up too much, people get... curious.

Yeah, Shinies are just sort of a thing that happens. It's not something that should require a limit. Some people are just lucky (all of Fool's Shiny mons were actually based on ones Pippi had in her game, for example).

Oh, also, the "Ethnicity" portion of the sign-up sheet should be replaced by "Region of Origin".

No, they're not physically better, but the thing is, Shinies are supposed to be ungodly rare. Even with the characters' Plot Magnet status, they're still hardly ever born to be found. Even Ash has only ever owned one shiny, and he's seen 11 others plus Gyarados.

This signature is empty. Nothing to see here.

And yet, you could go into the Pokemon thread right now and here about all the Shiny Pokemon that people have. I myself have four, and that's not counting the Red Gyarados or the Crown Beasts (or the Onix that was the first one I ever saw, but managed to accidentally faint).

Huh. Umbra mentioned a one-shiny-per-character limit. Meaning, say, if an R Per has 2 characters, Character 1 can get *one* shiny, and Character A can get *one* different shiny. If it's not the case, forget I said anything.
