In other news, the second chapter of my fanfic is up: http://www.serebiiforums.com/showthread.php?568115-Pokémon-Mystery-Dungeon-Reflecting-Balance&p=14434802#post14434802
I'm going to go on record and say that I'm not cool with moving the RP until/unless it becomes absolutely necessary.
On subjects that are far more interesting to me: Great chapter, DS! I was worried for a while, there. That dungeon was kind of scary.
And now, to draw focus to my own plans for a minute: My Fire Emblem-inspired Rescue Team. How many mons are on a Rescue Team, in the first place?
I guess since I'm here I can answer... 4 at a time into a dungeon, but you can hire and have in reserves hundreds. The 4 mon only thing is just gameplay rule, though, from what I can tell. Sometimes the whole Wigglytuff Guild explores a dungeon together.
Some dungeons restrict the amount of mons allowed in, and most legendary mons take up more than one team slot, so to speak.
Also, I was posting this because now that PMD is starting it's too late for me to ever rejoin. I don't know what to do with this thread now. Should I take it off my watchlist?

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! Thanks! That actually fits pretty well, since you often have a cast of dozens in Fire Emblem, but are limited to how many you can bring onto a map.
If you want to, you can, but it's up to you. PMD hasn't started yet, so if you want to show up there and rejoin, you're more than welcome to. I'm not going to push you, though, and I hope everyone else shows you the same courtesy.
All we're doing right now is waiting for people to be ready. Waiting for you would just be fair.
So, now that I know how big Rescue Teams are, I'd appreciate a little help in deciding what Pokemon all the characters will be. Don't worry, it won't be the dozens upon dozens of characters the game has to offer. Just a handful that we already know about.
I'll do my best to explain the different classes as succinctly as possible, but if you have any questions about them, or want to know about the characters' personality, I'm happy to give answers on a case-by-case basis.
- Krom
◊ — Lord: I'm thinking Riolu
- Liz
◊ — Cleric: Krom's sister, so also a Riolu
- Frederick
◊ — Great Knight: A pre-promote unit, which would translate to an evolved Pokemon.
- Tiamo
◊ — Pegasus Knight
- Callum
◊ — (Armour) Knight
- Ronku
◊ —Myrmidon (a.k.a. Swordfighter)
- Sol
◊ — Cavalier: Deerling
- Soiree
◊ — Cavalier: Ponyta
- Miriel
◊ — Mage: Misdreavus (thanks, Mezzo. She has to start at the base stage, because she's not a pre-promote)
- Vake
◊ — (Axe) Fighter: Axew? (thanks for the suggestion, Mezzo)
- Velvet
◊ — Taguel: Taguel are people that can transform into rabbit-like creatures, so I'm thinking Lopunny, or something. Then again, I might lean toward Nidoran (F).
- Viole
◊ — Archer
- Donny
◊ — Villager: a baby Pokemon
- Anna
◊ — Trickster: a promoted Thief; Anna is basically the series' mascot, so I want something special for her.
- Tiki
◊ — Manakete: similar to a Taguel, but with Dragons. I would lean toward Salamence, but that may be too powerful...
They'll show up multiple times over the course of the arc, four at a time, so everyone will have time to shine.
