Ah, that's where "having to sit and think things through" comes in. I can't have Silent somewhere that isn't Johto during early Kanjoh-2, due to plot, but I could easily move him to wherever Separation takes place if it begins later in time. Barring that I'll probably have to settle with an NPC.
Fanfic Recs orwellianretcon'd: cutlocked for committee or for Google?I'll wait for second opinions on that. I wonder if anyone has specific character development plans for the Separation arc.

I was gonna have Umbra and Lina be kidnapped late in the the Evil WAAP Ters arc, so this would be good practice. But I wanna do Kanjoh 2 too... argh.

Contact Me!Okay, so...
I'm thinking Separation is not the best idea for a side arc. Too many people want to participate.
If whatever runs beside Kanjoh 2 is only going to be the people that don't want to be in that, it should probably be something that not a ton of people want to do.
And that brings up another point:
Are there people (besides me) that don't want to participate in Kanjoh 2?

Wait, what? WHAT?!?
And hi!

"I like girls, but now, it's about justice."OK, I did something horrible out of frustration with one of the players, and I'll probably be banned for vandalism because of it. Bye.
Contact Me!OK, I'ts been fixed. Physically, anyway...
EDIT: Ninjasked.

Contact Me!Can I be very greedy and ask for happiness for the next three or so days? I'm leaving soon and, to be honest, planning of the RL event is going like Taurosshit so it looks I'll have to deal with extra pressure (as if taking over the national organization for the third year in a row wasn't enough).
In more internal news, since there have been various suggestions that I should give people stuff to do (despite the fact that I did, twice, pages ago), I'm gonna ask if people would prefer to go with a couple of plotlines now (as in, this week / the other one) or wait until Kanjoh 2. These plotlines being 1.- Anime!Sabrina (which we have yet to design, I want to avoid Psycho Psychic) and 2.- a potential exploration of the Johto cave system (Union Cave and Dark Cave, in the least) in which we can throw a couple of good things in.
Also, people, that a particular plotline might be geared better towards a particular set of players does not mean that others can't participate. It's just that it's easier to give a definitive and distinct plot to eg.: a Blue Moon Falls visit if characters who do have a Wooper or Quagsire go there, than if they don't.

I'll be doing my part for that one... But then again, I can only speak for myself...
Anywho, there was one matter that I kinda wanted to address.
A General Plea for Ghost Writers
As of this Monday at the latest, and in all likelihood this Sunday post 12PM wall time, I'll be heading back on the grind for another 10-or-so days not posting in order to (hopefully) not miserably fail a pair of midterms. In order to try and not let my characters fall off a cliff in the interim, I wanted to put out a general request for ghost writers.
Right now, I have 4 main character blocks:
Gene and Company (Infinity Keystone)
- Gene: The explorer of the group. Has unspecified and Beyond the Impossible ninja abilities for getting from Point A to Point B (handy for abrupt scene changes that you may need
). He's a bit of a snoop and not particularly helpful of an explainer.
- Vlad: The happy-go-lucky 6-foot tall hugbug of the group. Is more or less a marginally more mature and eloquent Dintel. Won't be killing anything deliberately under most circumstances (to the point where he winds up stealing food from others before hunting). The aforementioned aversion to killing stuff has been subverted before, though unless if you somehow wind up rubbing shoulders with borderline-Complete Monster types nonstop for a few days and are prepared to handle the nasty emotional crash afterwards, that should probably be something to avoid.
- Sonny: The rude and violent Jerk With a Heart Of Gold... Mostly. He's easily the most powerful mon along with Gene, and can be downright predatory towards others' insecurities. Does not battle for fun, if he beats something, it will in all likelihood need a Pokecenter visit afterwards. He's generally smart enough to back down from an obviously losing fight, but that's sometimes trumpted by his fiercely protective tendencies towards his siblings and Courtney. (Or when push comes to shove, his other teammates). Uses Russian and Mafiya-related terminology quite a bit, and is also his vernacular of choice for less savory terms.
- Sonny's Siblings: In general, they're more or less your group of foul-mouthed schoolyard punks, albeit a little more amiable and playful. Look up to their elder, and more powerful brother and occasionally address him as "Nikolai" (though won't pass up an opportunity to give him a hard time about his default name from time to time). More specific quirks:
- Misha - The loon of the bunch. If someone's making an inane statement in the group, it's him.
- Sasha - The more opportunistic and shady of the male Murkrow. Has a tendency to speak before he thinks things through.
- Alonya - The unofficial leader (and most mature) of the group. Administers Dope Slaps and Pecks to the others from time to time.
- Irina - Sasha's more clever (and devious) female counterpart. Unlike Sasha, she tends to be more prudent about her antics, but won't pass up the chance to take up a reasonable "opportunity" if she sees one.
- Kat: The Marowak on the team, is lugging around a Thick Club. Is a lorekeeper for a Cubone tribe just south of Kanto Route 9. Hot-headed, short-tempered, and often prefers to think with her club. Has a crush on Rising Star of the Sinnoh Tribe and a strong bond with his tribe (the fact that her less hot-headed and more openly curious brother, Yellow Dart is helping to patrol the Sinnoh Tribe's graveyard ATM is probably helpful).
RP!Tracer's Party (Kanjoh [Part] I)
- Iggy - Can best be described as the voice of reason among Tracer's mons (which is helpful, seeing as he's his starter). Always there to provide guidance and suggestions if needed... And generally does a good job at humoring grievances and mediating disputes. He looks at life as only a creature that lugs around a heavy bony shell could, which can lead him to pursue or otherwise recommend courses of action that will come off as a bit reckless sometimes.
- Shaun - The sweet, quiet Ampharos of Tracer's team... Who will proceed to brutally electrocute you if you attempt serious harm against his trainer or any of his teammates... Repeatedly. Will converse in tail flashes around other members of his line and can serve as a(n admittedly less seasoned) surrogate to Iggy in team leadership if need be.
- Lardna - Picked up in Unova around a year ago from Juniper's lab as a Tepig. Is well meaning, albeit judgmental as a team member, and a touch impatient. Also trends a tad rough and tumble and won't pass up a chance for battle if she can help it.
- Cleo - Not much to this Relicanth here. More or less a gag character built around being Wrong Genre Savvy... Or being RIGHT Genre Savvy for the wrong universe. Is in exceedingly RARE circumstances dead on with her commentaries regarding the situation at hand (usually when the rest of the group is not aware of it).
- Francis - Presently at Luke's house along with Chord and Guarde. A rather hard-bitten Delta Ledian with severe trust issues towards most other people and Pokemon, seeing them as only interested in her for their own means. Has internal conflict between a facet of her that is dead set on avoiding building relationships with others to avoid further emotional betrayals and her repressed desire to feel wanted by others. Presently has a mutual relationship with Chord that she is semi-candid about.
- Thog - The team poet of Tracer's mons. Do not confuse his flowery prose and interests for weakness though. He can still hold his own in battle, if not against many PC mons by virtue of sheer underleveling. Will not hesitate to use physical strength / force to smack around mons who decide to get smart about the idea of a Machamp with a thing for poetry.
- Zoltan - The team 5-year old of Tracer's team... If 5-year olds could fly, had sharp claws, and a mouth full of sawblade teeth. Curious, playful, naive, and not always aware of the gravity of his actions. Occasionally gives the others a headache via flying off or getting something destroyed. Will get violently ill if he attempts to consume most modern foods and should be kept far, FAR away from any ill mons on account of his less than robust immune system.
- Andre - The shy rock lizard who hides his insecurities regarding his raw statistical "imperfectness" and fears of being ignored / abandoned in favor of other, stronger mons behind a belligerent, battle-hungry facade. Tries VERY stubbornly to keep that facade intact and will generally only admit need for help in face of obviously overwhelming odds or if he finds himself way in over his head. The rest of the team has as of the moment not seen his true personality enough to distinguish it as being distinct from the one he projects when interacting most of the time. Is in that life stage where he eats a LOT, so expect offhand remarks about soil consistency from time to time. WAS intended to evolve into a Pupitar earlier this week, but eh, scheduling. If you feel particularly up to it, you are free to attempt this sometime in the next two weeks though his personality will be rather unchanged. Happens to be the OTHER mon on Tracer's team that can "understand" Toothless.
PEFE HQ Mons
- Nadia: The somewhat insensitive, though well-meaning bruiser of Tracer's team. Thoroughly confident in her own abilities and strength and her abilities to overcome all obstacles with them... Except when she can't, which typically elicits a good amount of personal insecurity, by virtue of challenging her presumptions regarding her strength and abilities as a Salamence or otherwise by finding herself engaging "monstrous" behavior that she associates with the fairytale depiction of Salamence that she finds particularly insulting. Tends to have a short temper and is a bit of a loose cannon when upset, which can get especially nasty when under emotional duress (if you happen to point out that she's Not So Different with a certain Hydreigon in this regard, she probably will not be amused). Tends to get annoyed by mons that are fearful of her based off of a cursory meeting and is somewhat leery of hunting (that said, she is not particularly uncomfortable with devouring particularly aggravating creatures that are not teammates or otherwise under a trainer's protection if she happens to be hungry). Opens up to her doll with a patched left wing, Toothless (aka Companion Cube / suspiciously powerful figment of her imagination), about insecurities that she doesn't feel comfortable sharing with others and has a very intimate bond with Lake.
- Audrey: The empath of Tracer's team and his avenue of direct communication with his mons prior to being armbanded. Is a major video gaming buff and regularly plays along with Milo and Teala whenever they're around. Extremely capable with techniques related to what we'd call "Special Attack" and Aura in general, and proud of it... Which is offset by downright appalling physical attack strength (which was the source of rather nasty insecurites when she was younger that she has for the most part conquered). Gravitating towards or otherwise insinuating some sort inherent tie between physical techniques and Fighting-Types is a major pet peeve of hers, mocking her abilities as a fighter is a fast way to get sniped in the face with an Aura Sphere. Regularly (ab)uses her capabilities with Aura to snoop in on others' thoughts and to act as psychic-invading alarm clock, and is a rather notorious flirt towards other Lucario she happens to run into (though it's for the most part not serious... For now).
- Milo: The lippy, immature, self-centered clown of Tracer's mons, and team Floatzel / general purpose mustelid. Will not hesitate to poke fun at something in a manner that he views as being good-natured or otherwise run his mouth off making smart comments. Which leads to him regularly receiving Dope Slaps or the equivalent thereof from his teammates. Can be genuinely supportive to team members at times, though barring personal crises, it is unlikely that Milo will pass the chance up to work a barb or two in.
- Courtney: The closest thing that Tracer presently has to a Token Evil Mon. She's Sonny... If Sonny were a couple notches lower on the power scale and made a conscious effort to go out and ruin someone's day every morning. Thinks highly of her mate, not so much his siblings, and is presently doting on her chick, Riana.
Special Cases (aka You'll have to ask Someone Else for An Okay As Well For These)
- Teala (ask Silent for debriefing of current/recent activities): Tracer's most recent draconic addition to his team (unless if you count Zoltan). A Druddigon ex-guard from Dragonspiral Tower, is occasionally plagued by an often-crippling sense of inadequacy and lack of self-worth that accompanied a dodgy service record and on-and-off verbal ridicule and abuse by other Pokemon around her. Longs deeply to be seen as competent and pulling her own weight among others, which was what drove her in part to seek out a trainer. Is a fan of gaming along with Audrey and Milo, will gladly share a few stories regarding Dragonspiral Tower and its patron deities in her more confident states, and has a presently quiet crush on Maekrite.
- Pepper (ask Luke for permission to run / expanded debriefing): A Meganium that Luke caught as a Chikorita at the Lake of Rage. Has been more or less out of the loop from the group's antics since GC. Is good natured and a competent medic, but quick to judge. Does not take the mistreatment of young creatures well, and can be a bit of a disciplinarian.
- Chord (ask Luke for permission to run / expanded debriefing): An Ariados that Luke caught as a Spinarak in the timeskip after the AU in Johto. A major music buff that lugs around an acoustic guitar with snarking tendencies and a bit of a mean streak (and is not the least bit squeamish about gruesomely dispatching and consuming his meals, or just screwing with a mon's mind if he's not particularly hungry). Is by far the more candid half of his relationship with Francis, and despite coming off as verbally and physically abusive to Guarde at times, genuinely (though quietly) cares and respects the Gallade.
- Guarde (ask Luke for permission to run / expanded debriefing): If Guarde had to be summed up in a single phrase, it would be as the "Idiot Hero" of Luke's mons. Always does the right/helpful thing... Or at least what he thinks is the right/helpful thing, which winds up making things worse about as often as it makes them better. Has a tendency to oversimplify the sides of an issue of a conflict into being "right" or "wrong". Generally very self-confident, though in the right circumstances (e.g. nearly getting someone killed) and with a sufficiently vehement chew-out, will have his self-confidence all but evaporate. Had a bit of a fairytale knight motif going up until Hoenn, but may have dropped that post-mindscapes. Also, is an infamously bad teleporter.
- Riana (ask Tangent for permission to run / expanded debriefing): Courtney's newborn chick, as of present not speaking coherently. Currently has a simplistic way of processing the world around her and has developed a bit of a animosity towards Fighting-Types after being harassed shortly after hatching by a Tyrouge.
- Rising Star (ask Tangent for permission to run / expanded debriefing): Kat's Cubone (and in all likelihood Marowak by the end of this week) crush. Is similarly averse to being candid about his feeling for Kat. Is of a less aggressive and more inquisitive mold. Occasionally makes a few decisions that only someone without much life experience would.
Any expressions of interest with regard to these characters (really just looking for some confirmation that they didn't get hit by a bus offscreen occasionally) would be deeply appreciated.

Okay, hang on, everyone just stop for a second. I know I've been away for a long time, and I would like to apologize to all of you for that. Because the truth is, I have/had/am a horrible procrastinator who has yet to get her priorrities straight. I'm doing better(I somehow managed to get high honors during my second tri
), but I was also very lazy and lost interest in posting. So, sorry about that. Now, I'm going to start posting again, but I need a couple of explainations. Actually, make that one explaination. What is the whole thing with the tears about? 'Cause I'm in that arc, and it's reported that Meddler's offscreen looking for tears, but I'm gonna have her run into someone else in that arc soon. And to do that, I need to know what the plot is.
So, help?

I think we have a misunderstanding.
I was intending to run Separation somewhere that isn't Kanjoh.
