Your Pokemon Island idea actually might give me an opprotunity to flesh out some of my Benched mons. Geb, Oswald, Sun, Sahara, Waldo and Zecora in particular.
I could also finally have that Mad Hatter Tea party with Honora, Joyeu and Bob that I have always planned on.
Yet I still have nothing to do with Hatbox, Hrm.
So yeah, I donate my entire benched Pokemon Team to Pokemon Island Luke. Though, this may get hetic for me as I'll be writing for Efrafa and the Keystone Arc so I'll have stuff all over the place.

I'm having to learn to pay the priceSo, over the past week or so, we've been discussing a possible arc/miniarc/party oneshot for the RP'S anniversary. The way I see it, we can do this one of two ways. First, we could wait for a lull in the action of the current arc, whatever that may be at the time, to start it. Second, we could put the day's events on hold for some time, and write it as a time-skipped period, or an omake of sorts.
We have a ton of planned activities for characters at the party, including: -D&D. -Truth or Dare (optional) -Montage of the RP's best moments. -Scavenger hunt, with the prize being the first slice of cake. -Speeches (also optional)
The anniversary of the RP is on February 7th. If we're too caught up with the plot at that date, the one-shot omake option may be our most viable method of doing this.
Any thoughts on what else we can add to the party, or comments on the general idea?
"USE YOUR WORDS NOT THE FABRIC OF THE UNIVERSE" ''memyselfand I 2"Hoenn Timetable Idea: WARNING. Possible spoilers if it goes through.
Perfect Aqua: ASAP, likely today or tomorrow (we haven't actually been loitering in LILYCOVE for so long, mostly just Fortree. Lilycove was all time-shenaniganned
).
After PA, the J-team flees to Mossdeep before information can be gleaned as to who they are (because NOBODY needs that kind of bad publicity). At Mossdeep, a new weather machine shows up(?) and TA and TM are fighting over it. After settling the issue there and destroying the next weather machine, we head to Sootopolis for one of two reasons: a) We want to finish up the Gym path, or b) we obtain information indicating that Charon is there. When we reach Sootopolis, we find Charon (or possibly just his hideout), and learn his plan. After testing his weather machines to make sure that they work, he intends to detonate Mt. Chimney (or Sootopolis if that was what was referred to when "caldera" was mentioned) and use said weather machines to stop the destruction...IF Hoenn pays up, of course.
Somewhere along this line, Vyvyan has been nabbed by Ozone, and is starting to become Rayquaza. As we race to the caldera to stop Charon from detonating it, the caldera event happens. We celebrate the saving of Hoenn, and then, as we realize that the anniversary of the meeting of our oldest members is coming up, we decide to head to Sinnoh for old time's sake (after completing any loose ends from Hoenn).
Timing of these events
Perfect Aqua: Today or tomorrow.
Mossdeep: This weekend.
Chase to Sootopolis and Caldera: The following week (and possibly Saturday if necessary)
Caldera event: The remainder of the weekend.
Tying up loose ends: Remainder of weekend if there is any, and following Monday (possibly Tuesday).
Heading to Sinnoh and Anniversary Party: Wednesday, February 7.
Start of Keystone Arc: Day after.
Dunsparce didn't stop being a thing or anything.Luke's Idea
I can't contribute any benched mons, but it sounds like a plan. I could write for some random wild Pokemon.
DS's Idea
See Every's post.
Gamer's Idea
I can also contribute a couple of my Pokemon to be D Js that play various musics from the game series as the party goes on.
Every's Idea
That sounds like a really good schedule, though we might want to make sure there are no conflicting plans that can't be worked around.
Also, still taking suggestions on Lina's character and to a lesser extent the backstory.

Contact Me!Umbra: Sounds good to me.
Every's plan sounds good regarding the time for the party, However, I can't participate in the current arc, due to an overload of schoolwork. I'll just say that Gamer will, over the first few days of February, was setting up the party as a surprise for everyone.
"USE YOUR WORDS NOT THE FABRIC OF THE UNIVERSE" ''memyselfand I 2"Luke's plan
I can contribute a few of my benched mons, I just need to figure out which ones.
DS' plan
Well, the last time I checked, we were thinking of having it somewhere near Mt. Pyre (If not right underneath it.) due to the fact that Mt. Pyre's RL equivalent is at the very tip of the RL supervolcano. Or, at the very least that's where Charon's eruption machine is at any rate.
Also, no one besides Tracer has answered my discussion post as of yet.
Hugging a Vanillite will give you frostbite.Tagg, I may be able to help with G Ming that arc, but you'd need to describe it in more detail for me to follow the general plot, in order to keep things on track. PM me with the details, or talk to me later in the chat regarding this.
"USE YOUR WORDS NOT THE FABRIC OF THE UNIVERSE" ''memyselfand I 2"To be more exact, it's blowing Mt. Pyre to accidently activate the supervolcano big enough to destroy most of Pokepan, including Hoenn.
Hugging a Vanillite will give you frostbite.Perfect Aqua
If we're doing it today and tomorrow I can jump in (yay!) except for the usual nomtime calls and a meeting with Aunt's family to help find some lost relics in the garage (buuuhh!).
Milestone Celebration
Count on Silent's interns to spend the night hanging up all kinds of decorations, not to mention providing the drinks!
As for options, I'm OK with any of them really. We are also setting ou our counterparts for then, right?
Valentine's Day
Since according to that schedule we'll have Feb 14 right inside the IK arc and Sinnoh will be twilighted or cordoned, Luke and I were thinking of having something special, a night of romance for the mons outside. Location may vary but I was thinking that from an organizational perspective either one of the Profs. Yards (Pallet Town?) or the Ruins of Alph were the best choice.
Sinnoh
Not much I'll be able to help with there since I'll be focusing on Kanjoh sidelines, but you can count on me to make sure the danger doesn't spread outside of Sinnoh, so that the sideline arc is protected from involvement, development-wise. For that matter I'm writing a couple of surprise posts that I can better comment on when the time to set up IK comes.
My scheduling
As soon as Silent is done with Perfect Aqua, he's taking either a blimp or offscreen teleportation to Mossdeep. He's gonna stay there for some days so that I can have some plot setups happen (essentially, do some onscreen worldbuilding for a IN SPACE arc, do stuff with Lileep, and hopefully returning Algira to the focus as well). After that it's a flight or teleport again to Rustboro where he will stay for a couple of days, blissfully unaware of plot (unless Ichtacya gets involved with the Rayquaza thing).
With that done, it's the flight back to Johto to start setting up the Kanjoh sideline arc, where my focus will lie until, most likely, late March. Then I'm taking a rest from the RP as I focus on the yearly RL event that my group is taking over again, and I should be able to jump back into the RP sometime mid April.

Fanfic Recs orwellianretcon'd: cutlocked for committee or for Google?Alright, there's been some discussion in the chatroom about my proposed Pokémon Island idea, and here's what we've managed to develop regarding the arc so far:
- This arc is open to any and all benched Pokémon in the RP. There main role will be to assist in documenting all of the Pokémon that live on Pokémon Island (Which now consist of species from Kanto, Johto and Hoenn).
- In keeping with the Pokémon Snap theme, this shall be done by taking photos of Pokémon. To that end, each Pokemon will be supplied with a Digital camera (With the necessary modifications required to operate it in event of lack of hands/limbs, etc.) to take pictures with. as an incentive, the Pokémon that takes the best picture of will receive a prize of some sort.
- The arc will take place across Pokémon Island, with at least one significant event happening in each area (Those being the Beach, Tunnel, Volcano, River, Cave, Valley and the mythical Rainbow Cloud). One of the main events, for example, includes Stratus finally facing down his Gyarados father in the Valley area.
- Between events, however, we will be staying in a flat-pack mobile base in the Beach Area, kindly supplied by the PEFE. We shall return here to rest and generally relax in-between exploring each area, which will hopefully allow Pokémon to interact with each other in a more casual setting.
As stated before, comments and suggestions for things to do are welcome, as it's not likely that I will be able to handle this entire mini-arc on my own.
Like I said, I can control some random wild Pokemon, though the fact that it's limited to the first three gens has me peeved, not only because I hate generation snobbery, but because I have some ideas for Gen 4 and 5 NPC mons, like a Lucario/Zoroark couple.

Contact Me!@Umbra: It's less Generation Snobbery and more the fact that Pokémon Island is a more or less highly protected environment, it is intended to be a more compartimentalized and less open to visitation habitat as well. I think even G3 mons being there is stretching it a lot. Plus, it adds a surprise element, like "hey, what's with the weird bipedal Mightyena?"

Ah, sorry, I didn't realize what it was like in-RP. I'll save those NP Cs for another time.

Having been given some time to think about things, I've decided on the direction that I'm going to take upon returning to the RP (Which might be some time soon providing I manage to get a stable connection until we get broadband installed at our new/old house).
So, me and my Pokémon will be sticking around in Hoenn for a little bit in order to supply Guardé to play apart in the event leading to Odette's evolution. After that, however, we're going to leave Hoenn for the PEFE HQ to take care of a few things (Partly because I want to visit, and partly because I want to say hi to Tracer's benched Pokémon, his NP Cs, and maybe PEFE!Every Assuming he doesn't try to preform experiments on- Oh who am I kidding?!)
After doing that stuff, which shouldn't take that long, me and my Pokémon will be given an assignment: Go to Pokémon Island
and document the species of Pokémon that live there (Which now includes Pokémon from most of the major regions).
However, to prevent myself from having nobody to interact with during this arc, Tracer suggested that I if anyone would be willing to supply their benched Pokémon to take part in this arc, just as a chance to give them some much needed screentime, as well as something to take part in.
So, the question is, would anyone be interested in supplying their benched Pokémon to take part? The only issue so far with this arc is that I don't have any events planned apart from discovering Comet's true origins, and Stratus finally standing up to his Gyarados father.
So yeah, comments and ideas for stuff to do would be appreciated, peoplemons. And keep in mind that this will run parallel to the end of Hoenn, and the start of Infinity Keystone/Johto antics depending if Will end up taking longer than expected.
