A couple of good surprises and some displays of sillyness, yes.
Hey guys! I'm back from Cali, and if I'm half-frozen, at least I have TV Tropes access.
But GEEZ, guys! Four days, and three people join, and I miss 66 pages! Were you all just waiting for me to leave to start picking up the pace or something?
(Don't answer that.)
But yeah... I'm not reading that. Period. So if there's anything I need to know that wouldn't conveniently fit in a recap, tell me now.
Victory! Honor! Destiny! Mutton!Welcome home (wherever your home is)!
I don't...think anything all that major has happened. I've adopted your mons, we have some new people (which you already know), everyone got on to Fortree, there's a Pokeringer (Flying-type) contest coming up, and Gamer's Smeargle turned out to be Evil All Along.

Well, after the megapost I was intending to do something with Wallace (not related to fangirls or underwear, don't worry), but since it won't be very soon, I guess there's no problem
Fanfic Recs orwellianretcon'd: cutlocked for committee or for Google?Won't leave him out, but if you need him you can just go ahead and work with him. My plot with him won't be before end of January, with my current pacing. I'm probably RC'ing Karen or Lance for some sillyness though~

Alright, here's my idea for AUPMD!Umbra in a villan role:
Basically, AUPMD!Umbramatic (who's probably a Dusknoir) brings his religion back, and he and his fellow worshipers somehow get ahold of/summon Giratina the Second. However, something goes wrong, and Umbra and Giratina fuse into an entity called Nox Giratina. Nox Giratina goes mad from the joining of two very different minds, and it sends its worshipers on a quest to make the normal world more like the Distortion World. War and rebellion promptly ensue.
It's still in development, so discussion and feedback are appreciated.
Contact Me!Three reasons why I'm not too keen on it as stated (not saying I disprove of it, I just would like to see some important matters solved):
- There will be concurrent PMD plots, one in the Future!AU!PMD and other one in the normal PMD. Since the AU!PMD has its own set of secondary Legendaries (Arceus Event) and the only beings that can work as villains across dimensions are the Dragon Trio, that would either set up a Giratina v/s Giratina, or wouldn't be too workable because which Giratina are the priests going to follow? One would think the original one.
- The AU!PMD has already underwent a probably cruent war in the past, with lingering effects. Unless we are somehow removing the Legendaries as what happened with the normal AU, they are not going to let the Distortion World "spread", considering the more or less why of Giratina was originally encased there. The reborning of the religion would probably be a "recent" matter, with Nox Giratina trying to work his way as Dragon Understudy or Well Intentioned Extremist rather than a full blown villain from day "one".
- You are too green for a major villainy role. No offense, I just don't feel it as safe considering you are one of several new players coming it with speshul powers and the PMD arc(s) is to be more or less "soon", development wise. Then again, if this has as much planning as the AU did, I don't see a major issue.
Hmmm... good points, all of them.
1. Maybe the original would be a better idea, but the basic plot would still stand, I suppose. I guess Giratina the Second could be part of the rebellion.
2. I was hoping for suggestions on that... perhaps his plot could be different? Or would the legendaries have an issue no matter what he does? Or would he get ahold of something that makes all the other legends leave him alone?
3. Hopefully we will plan plenty, (we should ,anyhow) and hopefully by the time PMD Returns rolls around I'll be more in the swing of things. (Plus, I plan things out like a madman when I want to :P .)

Contact Me!For those who are still confused over how the PMD/Return to AU arcs are going to work, I've made a crappy helpful chart to help explain things. See it here.

If I'm reading the chart right, we do not pop in in the same "time coordinate" in each branch, right? Apparently we'd go to the green one in an earlier time than the red one...
Fanfic Recs orwellianretcon'd: cutlocked for committee or for Google?I don't know much about the A-Side plot wise, only that it takes in the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon World from Explorers of Time/Darkness/Sky, which was visited in the PMD long weekend Arc early on in the RP. Players will be able to move back and forth between the PMD world and the AU's future by using portals, if they wish.
I'm not very enthusiastic about the Nox Giratina thing... in part because the "Legendary is evil today because possessed/Shadowed/Red-Chain/Primal/overprotective-father/out-of-kitty-litter" plot is starting to feel a bit recycled, and also because, as I've said before, battles against them always seem to turn into arbitrary attack-for-X-posts-until-it-faints grinds.
More personally, but also, I kinda just like both Giratinas and might feel a little protective.

Do you highlight everything looking for secret messages?So... I have a slight problem.
See, the more development goes into the PMD and Return to the AU arcs, the more I really don't want to take part in either.
But I do want to take part in the Keystone arc.
Now, since I'm utterly sick of Crewe, and she's leaving sometime during Hoenn (pretty much as soon as I get all those apologies done), I have a new PC.
But the thing is, Keystone comes first, and I really don't have a reason for Rachel (the PC) to randomly leave the group for two arcs, then rejoin them.
So... Any ideas?
