Couldn't you guys have waited until I was awake before changing the plot?
Not that I'm not okay with the current plot, it does add a little bit more of a mystery feel to the arc. I can definetly work with this.
There's just one tiny detail we now need to take into consideration with the changes:
Who broke Charon out of jail and why?

I would blame Time Zones for that DS.
Also now to discuss my plot
The Plot
By some twisted hand of fate. Whether it be a storm, a robbery, a seismic event or simply the legendaries putting us through a challenge and seeing how we cope with it. The trainers are all separated from their Pokemon and have no access to any reserves they might have in their PC, this leads to both the Trainer and the Pokemon scouting [Region x] high and low for eachother. This arc is basically to allow us to flesh out both our human and Pokemon characters and how they adapt to serious situations and change.

I'm having to learn to pay the priceI have no objections to that, Fool. It sounds like an interesting idea.
As for Charon
Charon could have broken himself out? It is possible, after all, and someone like him likely has at least one effective "Get out of Jail Free" card.
Dunsparce didn't stop being a thing or anything.Hmm... Except it was already implied that someone helped him break out. Unless Charon was somehow able to spend the (at least) two years he spent in prison to come up with some sort of escape plan that was made to look as if someone else had broken him out? (that is, if we decide not to go with the "Ardos broke him out/had someone break him out" plan)
Also, on the subject of Team Magma/Aqua and the natural disasters. I'm thinking it might be more interesting if instead of having Gym leaders side with either team, that some of the Gym leaders think Team Magma/Aqua might be responsible for the natural disasters, remembering what had happened last time. While some of the other Gym leaders believe the cause lies elsewhere since they can't prove it was them, other than the ecological damage they may have caused so far.

If it weren't because my mind pains from imagining the result, I'd suggest Charon has spent these last two years doing some Irohbics.
Fanfic Recs orwellianretcon'd: cutlocked for committee or for Google?
Lol.
So, anyways, any opinions on the "taking sides" aspect being more of some of the Gym Leaders thinking Team Magma/Aqua have something to do with the natural disasters, while some of them do believe in their claims that they had nothing to do with it, even if they have so far caused some ecological damage?
...Wait, how subtly does Rotom go in? Rotom File
Forme jail bake?
Okay, guys. I've cooled down somewhat from last night, though I'm still staying out of the chatroom for a while, and I want to apologize.
But anyway.
So I asked this when I popped into the chat before going to bed because I didn't want to put it in spoilers and putting it here never occurred to me. Plus, I was half asleep and not thinking straight. So I'll ask again.
If you discount my plots/plans, R Ping skills, characters, anything related to the RP and just consider me myself (as in, Anom with more self confidence, quicker to anger and slower to cool down, and good at picking fights), do you think I should leave?
Please, right now, I'm asking for honesty. Brutal Honesty if it so happens, but honesty. Don't think of me as a friend right now. Think about yourself and if you actually want me around.
And here's another of my problems. Every time someone says 'No' I'm just gonna figure they were being friendly. But there's no helping that, I guess.
Victory! Honor! Destiny! Mutton!Crewe: Please don't leave.
I can, in absolute honesty, say that I would be upset if you left. While I'm not sure what criteria there are besides as a writer and as a friend, I would miss both deeply.
While I can't properly convey sincerity through text (ignoring Sincerity Mode pothole), please believe me that I am being honest right now.
Dunsparce didn't stop being a thing or anything.Want brutal honestly? You'll get brutal honesty. With sugar and chocolate crisps, but still, honesty. Did I mention it's still brutal?
Don't go. Don't you really have a reason to, I hope. Without your plots and plans, at least, to myself you are a creator in the making. Without even than, then there's the final person your creation brought us to know, and without even that, well, "Anom with more self-confidence" is still a good thing to have around (no offense, Anom!). I mean, really, despite the particular... issues the chatroom has caused, it has made us meet and know of each other more easily and more deeply. And I'd lament if Crewe goes away before meeting her and knowing her more or less to the degree I have grown to known other people around here.
But let's stop talking about Crewe. She wants me to think about myself? Fine, let's talk about myself: Myself likes to help with the usual random stuff on character development, more than his other usual activities IRL. He has enjoyed helping Crewe out in that respect. Myself feels bored, unuseful and eventually harmful to others when he is not putting certain skills into use (well, when he *is* too!) or sitting back to think back to and enjoy the good times had while sipping a lemonade. He has enjoyed that Crewe's presence is more or less a novelty and not as persistent as, say, Tangent's, in his mental landscape of personal connections.
And I'd better stop because I'm totally sounding like a bipolar stalker by this point... but the point is gotten, right? RIGHT???
Leave? I don't want you to leave Crewe, I like having you around.
Hugging a Vanillite will give you frostbite.

First of all, nice to see you back Jane! Will enjoy short cameo from you!
Also, regarding chatroom shenanigans.
Now I don't think I could say anything that other have said better, but I will put in my two cents. The chatroom is good for plot planning once the plot is in motion. The best example of this is the AU arc. Now, despite what you might think about that AU Arc and it's Repercussions on the RP, one cannot argue that the AU Arc was well thought out and the chatroom did help to that, planning of certain events during the AU Arc (How Pokepan was going to play out, Napoleon's Rebellion and his demise etc.) were planned in advance, but this was well after we discussed who were the villains, what the chartcters were, what their personalities were, overall plot and whatnot.
In other words: First of all you need a good foundation/ Otherwise it's risky from the start
Now let's compare that to the Orange Islands Arc.
Most of that arc was planned in the Chatroom itself and, let's face it, it wasn't well though out with hotchpotches of plot scattered here and there that was hastily strung together to make a hap-hazard story. People were getting involved in arcs they didn't really want to get involved in simply because there was nothing else to do. A sign of poor planning.
But I digress, That's not the real issue.
The issue bringing up plots in the Chatroom. Plots with potential that get shot down simply by one person saying "I don't like [X]/this makes me do [X] and I don't want to do [X] so I don't want [this plot] to happen". This will reside in one side try to reason with the other, the other side sticking with their P.O.V which leads to unwanted conflict, childish debates and then to outright flamewars that keep people up much longer than they should be up for the sheer purpose of arguing (Hence, why I've seen expends in time stay up which should not happen because sleep is godsend people).
And, let's be frank, it makes EVERYONE feel like shit afterwards (and I normally like being the "michealjacksoneatspopcorn.jpg" gal)
So all probable major plots should be discussed in the Discussion Thread from now on in. It was our friend during the planning of the AU arc, it will continue to be our friend in future arcs. I suggest if anyone sees another post a probable plot that is most likely to become major, would they ask them to post it here before a bitchfest rises again in the RP. Remember, this is supposed to be FUN, not a chore or a job.
I also feel that doing this will help us... work better together. For the last month it's been nothing but continual debating tennis between two or more parties. It's stopped people from posting as they would; it's stopped people from being able to create plots. Hell, these stupid arguments have stopped me from being able to wrap up some of the AU stuff that I really wanted to do and wrap up ages ago before my next Cadets Bivouac (Which is next weekend in fact).
So yeah... Rant over, post major plot (If you want to discuss plots you intend doing just by yourself, I wouldn't object to anyone doing that in the chatroom. Just no plots you intend for a majority of the group to participate in) and please don't snarl and growl at the other users now because of all this built up tension. Next post I will post my plot.
Also Jane. Feel free to nitpick my syntax in a graceful and intelligent manor as you DID promise me some grammar lessons
.
