Well, for one thing, the trope is being used wrong. Curb-Stomp Battle is when the heroes do it to the villains. No-Holds-Barred Beatdown is the opposite.
A lot of these issues could be solved if the example were reduced to a couple of salient phrases. No-Holds-Barred Beatdown: Zeus vs. Hulk. The actual god wins, to the point where only Hulk's Healing Factor keeps him alive long enough to be rescued.
We don't need or encourage a Wall of Text for each entry. I'll tackle a brief trim here...
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Okay, that's done. I'm watching the page now to see what happens next.
Edit: Forgot to mention - usually you bring up issues of edit warring in Ask The Tropers. But I'm here and saw this, so...

Over the last few weeks, I have been in something of I guess an "edit war" with another contributor named "checkup" over the Curb Stomp Battle trope on the Incredible Hulk article. I have tried to keep the trope description short and to the point, but the other contributor keeps adding things that I fail to truly see any relevance to the trope in discussion. I have tried to compromise through both edits and the discussion page, but that does not appear to be getting me anywhere. By this point, I fear I may be losing focus and not thinking straight. I am not sure of this disagreement warrants a moderation or not.
Could someone please take a look at the Incredible Hulk page Curb Battle Trope, the recent edit history, and the discussion page conversation about it and let me know if I am doing something wrong or what their thoughts on on this please? I think consulting a third opinion could help out.

I added the trope on April 2 and it was about 4 lines. I tried to keep it short and to the point. Checkup changed it to 13 lines and added extra stuff from the story itself that as far as I can tell has little or nothing to do with the trope. I fully admit I could be wrong in any part or all of this so I am seeking a third opinion.
Could someone also please check out the "Did You Just Punch Out Cthulhu?" trope on the same page please. I think it needs clean up as well due to being devolved into a discussion, but frankly I'm at a lost on where to start on it.
thank you
