Watch it be Jinpachi, completely undermining everything even further.
Self-professed Wild Card who thinks cynicism isn't so bad.You know here's my weird theory. Seiryu looks a bit unique to just waste a model like that on an NPC. And his build is very similar to another big beefy mishima.
What if....what if they are trying to bring Jinpachi Mishima back as a playable character? I wonder if it's closer to the TTT 2 incarnation when he's not as demonic
Uni catOn when Heihachi began his "experiment" to see if the Devil Gene could have been a Mishima thing and not a Hachijo thing by traveling around the world and impregnating many women (Reina and Lars being two of these children). My question is, would he have done so immediately after throwing Kazuya off that cliff?
I ask because while Heihachi was busy getting many women pregnant, when he did go on that killing spree against the Hachijos, even killing the woman he impregnated from that clan who's clearly Reina's mother? Not only that, how did he realize that the Devil Gene was a Hachijo-only thing (Kazuya aside)? I mean, all of this must have done before Tekken 1 since Lars (and Reina in this case) is/are older than Jin, who should be immediately born after the tournament in Tekken 2 (the tournament could only have taken place before his birthday of August 5 per this Tweet by Harada
).
I'm still of the opinion that Reina was a baby he adopted and not the result of some Hikaru Genji Wife Husbandry crap.
Sometimes the simplest explanation is the right one. In this case the simplest explanation would be that the Clan Hachijo hunt took a long time to complete. By the time Heihachi was sure he tracked down and killed the very last ones (save for baby Reina), decades had passed.

Disgusted, but not surprised
And I guess that means that, as a contrast to what we discussed in the previous page
, Heihachi continued finding women to impregnate to test if the Devil Gene was a Mishima trait that skipped him and that one woman he impregnated was a Hachijo, whom he still killed yet stopped short of killing the infant who would grow up to be Reina.
Therefore, this event would have still taken place during the 19-year time skip between Tekken 2 and Tekken 3 but after Jin was born to help show how Reina could be younger than him despite her being a daughter of Heihachi. Question is, would Heihachi have finally realized that if Reina is a Hachijo, that it finally got through to his thick skull the Devil Gene is a Hachijo trait and not a Mishima trait?

You put too much stock into the words of Harada, the same man that said "Heihachi Mishima is completely dead"
Reina is not blood related to Heihachi. No way they go for the Wife Husbandry, that would be weird. That surviving baby girl is Reina

Uni cat
How would that be Wife Husbandry? We usually define it as an older man raising a girl to be his future wife even though they should be kept as parent and child.
I doubt Heihachi would make Reina his second wife just because she's related to his wife, whom he killed, and that she inherited the same power.
As for “Heihachi Mishima is completely dead”, I think Exact Words are in order… insomuch that the sentiment was cut off. It would be more accurate to say that "Heihachi Mishima is completely dead… to damn near everyone."
Self-professed Wild Card who thinks cynicism isn't so bad."Heihachi Mishima is completely dead... tired of people failing to kill him."
So I watched the DLC story, and I have to strongly disagree.
Khaos Reigns at least had a likeable dragon and wasn't a terrible, utterly stupid story. Also, how can something be "miles better... but not by much"?
As I was watching, I didn't think it could get worse than the amount of time they spent tickling Lidia's skittle. And yet it did.
Did Necalli result in anything other than the "devour hour" minor meme?

The sad, REAL American dichotomyMmmmmmmmmmmmmmm YMMV...
I guess you must be fond of khaos.
- MK 1 Khaos Reigns - Here's a nothing burger to go with your shipping fries.
- Tekken 8 Unforgotten Echoes - Remember how we had a Final Showdown over the last two games well turns out that wasn't the final showdown.

You know what Unforgotten Echoes has over Khaos Reigns? Actual progression, even if ass backwards. Khaos Reigns only consequence is that Bi-Han is now covered in Khaos Tar, that's it.
I would say the return of Heihachi Mishima is a bigger deal, even if that deal is something i didn't want. But whatever, funny strong old man go "SORYA!"
Uni catMishima biology go brrrrrrr.
Tekken 7: HEIHACHI MISHIMA IS A VICTIM. HE TOTALLY WAS FIGHTING AGAINST AN EVIL-ER DEMON CURSE WOMAN WHO CATFISHED HIM. HEIHACHI WAS THE GOOD GUY ALL ALONG.
Tekken 8: -cricket noises in the temple full of dead monks Heihachi brutally murdered because they taught him a Super Mode-

We already knew he was back, though. Now we just know the way it happened was dumber than some of us would like. Also, a reminder that Eddie believes in redemption.
Khaos Reigns, meanwhile, gave us at least movements in the status of Sektor, Cyrax, Bi Han, and Harumi. The more interesting thing was the potential lore for the other timelines. TBH I'd rather spend more time with the other Tanya than follow up on Bi Han's story, but that's unlikely to happen. And it was definitely still underwhelming, but I just found the Tekken DLC to be underwhelming and dumb.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyYeah Khaos Reigns was almost TRYING to be a total nothing burger sticking rigidly to series status quo.
I mean when it wasn't an Invasions season given an inflated budget. With Heihachi i really hope its Tekken going back to the goofy story shit it doesn't want us to take seriously. Though if its such a bigger part of the marketing now, well now we HAVE to.
Are explosions science?

So who is gonna be the final season 1 character?
