Exactly. Just because this particular market's in such a precarious position doesn't mean they'll necessarily want to burn it all down the way they did Singapore. If Yoga can save Japan, then they can make more profit in the small-f future...
Shit, I just realized what Mikuni may be trying to do. If Japan goes down completely and nobody's got a future left, it means the FD will have to withdraw after Keynesthulhu finishes his work. Mikuni considers that Japan's better off dead than under the FD's thumb.

Although I don't think that most people in Japan would accept that alternative
But it *fits* the interpretation of [C] as a Cosmic Horror Story. You could submit to Keynesthulhu (what was the end of the Mikuni Route) or hold it back for a while (Yoga-Jennifer Route), but you can't *defeat* it for real (So, the Financial District will not be destroyed, but maybe his influence will be for now diminished to a point where Japan could recover - what would create more small f-future for them to consume later). The players could win this run, but the FD will win the game - and it can wait for a long time.

The FD's a zero-sum game. You can't win, and you can't quit. The only choices are to keep playing, or lose. And losing sucks.
Also - I had the biggest grin on my face when the helicopters where dropping money over Japan. (Remember Helicopter Ben? Ben Bernanke once expressed the desire to stimulate the economy by dropping money from helicopters over American cities).
Must say, found it interesting that Taketazaki was actually working with someone, let alone the IMF. Though with Yoga getting handed a Black Card by the higher-ups, it seems increasingly possible that he's Masakaki's human incarnation, helping out Yoga for some unknown purpose.
What's precedent ever done for us?Hey, just something I noticed when I rewatched the episode just now... When Jennifer went Bankrupt she went onto WATCH, then she gave Yoga Georges. But the same thing happened back on Yoga's deal with the teacher, he went onto WATCH and sold a share for 50,000,000.
Jennifer is selling all of her shares, so shouldn't she get some money at least? Somehow I feel like her 'death' in the FD could've been avoided if Yoga had taken a damn second to give her 10 million or so...
Also, did Q just invest so much money in an attack that she overloaded it? For that matter how would she even invest in the first place? The only thing I can think of is that she's using the money that Mikuni's been feeding her to invest by herself.
I guess that the difference is that Yoga was still in condition to fight, but Jennifer was not, so maybe the money tranfer would not work for that.
Speaking of shares, how is that share of Mysu that Mikuni bought going to play out? If entres immediately profit from their attacks then no matter what Mikuni is getting 5% of everything Kimimaro makes, and considering the sheer size and power of the attacks that are going to be necessary, this deal is going right down to the wire even if our boy fights a perfect match.
I don't think it's going to be relevant, to be honest. It's going to come down to bankruptcy on either side. But really, Msyu is a one-trick pony. Her attacks are successively larger fire blasts. Same for Q, ironically. I think Aurora and Mikuni's Butler are both down for the count, so Yoga technically has a small advantage. Of course, we've already seen what Q can do...
Wouldn't it be great if Yoga somehow managed to turn Q around and she ended up "cannibalizing" Mikuni?
EDIT: Found some sick new images (All images SFW, all links have NSFW ads.)
The Last Goodbye.
<—Who's the other guy? Mikuni's hugging Q and someone else, who is it?

BYOON~!Someone knows how [C] is being received in Japan so far? In the english-speaking blogs, it is being love-or-hate so far.
A still believer in Sa GaIt's more than that. The entire situation is what created his present obsessed worldview. In a nutshell, what his father was doing was ignoring short-term concerns in favour of long-term ones, and that's why his sister is now in a coma.
Mikuni therefore decided that he'd never do that, and has been giving priority to the short-term ever since.

I know that it looks against Midas Bank's interests - but what if they prefer take a small loss (how much the country would value to them anyway, with no Future left to consume at the end?) to create the conditions to have much more Future to consume later? An investment if you will. That would explain why Midas Bank did gave the Darkness Level to Yoga's card (since it was a black one) - after all, they would win at the end (just will take a little longer - what they could accept for more "profit").
