Meh, it's okay for what it is. Pretty much the only two shows I've found even remotely interesting, this season, are Tiger & Bunny and [C]. There's plenty of flaws, especially the main character, who's kind of a loser, but the scenario is interesting enough to keep me watching till the end. I'm actually more interested in the background/mechanics of the show than Yoga, I have to admit. But all-in-all, it's not a bad *idea* for a series.
Also, if you can express your opinion, so can anyone else. You can say what you like, but it's hardly going to be popular.

C isn't bad, far from it, but it's another of those shows that has a lot more potential than actual enjoyment. The animation is cheap-ish as mentioned, and there's some problem with pacing (it's very disjointed) the idea is pretty cool, if ham-handed, but it could really use some expansion.
Basically, it needed to be 26 episodes or so.

Genkidama for Japan, even if you don't have money, you can help![1]I like the show quite a lot, especially how it shows many different people's perspectives on the situation before Yoga makes a decision. It was narmy at times, but I actually don't mind a little narm. And I'm not really watching the show for the animation, so I couldn't care less. I don't really know enough about economics to tell if that aspect of the show is done well, but it serves the story well. Yoga was annoyingly noncommittal at first, but he's chosen a side now. So though he's not particularly interesting, he doesn't detract from the show.
Ahh, so looks like Sato's plan was indeed to destroy the trust in Midas Money. Sensible, except judging from Masakaki's reaction, looks like it didn't work. Whoops.
It's kind of hard to keep track of who's fighting for the future and who for the present when losing your future in this show directly translates to losing things you have in the present as well.
And hahahahahaha I liked the message on the holographic display when Sato transfers her ownership of Georges to Yoga. "WW.TF IS YOURS" indeed.
Please be gentle with me.

I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serial
So is Jennifer's future safe as long as Yoga doesn't go bankrupt or what? And yeah, how the bloody hell did Yoga get Darkness from Mikuni? Did he snatch it off him when he commando-lunged at him?
I agree, all that happened is that Masakaki's superiors decided to give Kimimaro a Darkness Card. I expect that it's because Keynesthulu wants to see what Kimimaro will do with that because this entire plan to sabotage the FD has culminated in Kimimaro fighting Mikuni. That or officially having two Assets works too.
This was a great episode. I'm looking forward to the finale.
Jennifer's bankruptcy was indeed sad, but I liked how Kimimaro and Msyu connected during their Deal. Wonder what will happen with Hanabi now.

OR that by giving Yoga a darkness card, it will be able to corrupt Yoga even further.... I don't know, something like that.
Also: I refuse to believe Sato is gone! Sa Ga ''will' live on! To the AU-mobile!
BYOON~!
Tsk tsk redcynic.
(1) A true shipper accepts defeat with grace and honor
(2) Sa Ga isn't necessarily dead yet. I may be misunderstanding this, but before she went bankrupt, Jennifer entrusted Georges to Kimimaro. Since Georges is her future, that means that as long as Kimimaro doesn't go bankrupt, she may still have a chance. As a matter of fact, she'll probably end up connected to Kimimaro at the hip if they both make it through this. He would technically be the sole proprietor of her future after all.

I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serialNot quite sure. She only took interest in him at first because Mikuni did. Maybe Mikuni saw potential in his fighting abilities for some reason, and Jennifer now believes he has the ability to win against Mikuni? Msyu suggests that it's because he's the type who tries to find the right path and fully commits to it once he does. He plays an important role from a story-telling perspective, but it wasn't clearly explained why he's important plot-wise.
Jennifer's [C] mini-drama kinda of confirms that [1]
And if you have the Shipping Goggles ON, there will be Sa Ga hints.
I can't wait to see how this will wrap up, and how Kimimaro would deal with the FD and [C] backwave...
About Jennifer (Man, her fight was badass! It's a pity that she choose the wrong Asset to take over - but Q *is* an unusual Asset) and Georges: I think that if her Asset was destroyed when she went bankrupt, she would lose her Future for real - by giving her Asset to Kimimaro (someone that she could trust it), she still have a chance of keep her Future (he could give it back to her), at the same time that she allowed Kimimaro to use his techniques on his fight with Mikuni (Did Kimimaro deserve a CMOA for trying fight with Msyu to prevent her to get hurt and try punch Mikuni - stupid moves, all right, but maybe he deserve some recognition for that).
An detail that I like it that Jennifer took on herself to fight Mikuni (despite of how it ended for her
) - I really that she recovers by the end of the final episode...
Did anyone notice that *Masasaki* called his North American counterpart a "nasty character"! And it coming from *Masasaki*...
A still believer in Sa Ga
His name is Don, and yes, he seems rather sinister (Engrish not withstanding)
And I'd imagine her future is still safe with Kimimaro for now. But the very fact that she gave him her future implies a lot...

I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serialI get the feeling that this is all a 'just as planned' on Masaaki's part. He didn't seem particularly upset by the fact that both of them are working against the financial district.
Also, I assume that you get the Darkness card once you have a certain amount of cash/Assets. Jennifer gave *everything* she had left to Yoga. Also, Yoga's personal finances had been boosted tremendously by his battle with that other guy; Hence, Darkness card. Either way, the Financial District wins, and the demon clown is tremendously amused.
I mean, if Yoga wins, Japan goes down. If Mikuni wins, the Financial District gets to milk out years of suffering from the populace. What I didn't understand, though, is why the information broker didn't just take the bailout package and run with it. It's a *lot* of money. (My predictions were partially correct, though.)

Not only is the CG and it's use not so great. But there are blatant cheap skips in animation in several areas. They didn't even make an effort to hide their laziness there. Usually I don't mind shortcuts when people hide them well. But making such blatant things such as that is rather sad. I'd like to see what areas it can be considered average. Average it might be close to, as aside from the more problematic scenes, it's very similar in quality to Pandora Hearts. It's certainly not anything stunning, though, that's for sure. It, for one, has impressed me less than a good portion of modern anime. I can see looking past this if you like other aspects of the show, but saying it's "above average", I don't see how that is even remotely possible. I'd like to even ask what animation from 2010/2011 it can be considered particularly better than and why.
And as far as cliched, it starts the story, about a typical student. Who gets whisked away to a place where figured essentially duel in a way similar to Duel Monsters. Many many many shounen use this "ordinary boy becomes duelist on grid-battlefield" a great terrible many times. And the attempt at explaining the main character's situation was bad. The part about explaining his parents, it wasn't good at all. And came of as extremely cheesy and narmy. It seemed forced and like the studio said they would do it only because "it's what you do". All around even, it seems like the studio didn't care about this anime at all. If I sat around every bland and generic area of this show, I'd be showing off pretty much every scene in this show.
And geez, telling someone "you're not going to earn any friends by x", for coming in and just sharing their two cents. I'm getting tired of people throwing statements like that around. I shouldn't have to shut up on the rare situation I genuinely don't like something just because it won't "earn me friends". Most people add when they like or don't like or aren't impressed with something. And I'm generally pretty reserves about this sort of thing, but if I feel like being honest about it for a change, I'm going to. Why are you motivated to say things like this? I would hope you'd pull something like that on another user in another situation.
