Requests to Unlock Locked Pages

This thread is to request that a locked article be unlocked. Please read the guidelines below before making a request.

1. Please see Locked Pages and Permanent Redlink Club first. If an article is on the Permanent Redlink Club, it will not be unlocked, ever.
2. Pages cut a while ago were automatically locked. Before asking for an unlock, make sure that the article you want to create is in the proper Namespace, has gone through YKTTW if it's a trope, and otherwise fulfills our guidelines for Creating New Pages.
3. If you just want to make an edit to an article, post here instead.
4. Don't ask for new Main redirects. Those are only for old articles with lots of existing inbounds.

^{Original post} I'm thinking, with the new locking system in place, we should have a sticky thread for requests to unlock titles so a new page can be made.

I'll start it off: could someone please unlock Hootie And The Blowfish so I can make a new page on it? The last page was cut for being copypasta from Wikipedia.

^Nope. It's for pages that got cut, which now also causes them to get locked.

You appeal a threadlock via the Holler mechanism - i.e., report it.

1. Where the HECK is the holler mechanism?

2. Can someone please unlock Think Music? I've got a better version in YKTTW waiting to be launched.

There's a little yellow triangle "!" button at the the top of every post. That sends a holler to the mods about a particular post.

Why was WallBangers.Star Trek Films cut?

Apparently my cutlist request wasn't successfully contested. That's actually partly my fault. However, I did think we were supposed to be doing namespaced trope articles for individual titles if a work had them.

What happened to TroperTales.Kissing Cousins? It was stated in the discussion not to cut it by a mod, so what happened?

the Mainspace page was locked for the Mass Effect RP, and I'm not sure why.

I was going to ask that it be made a redirect to the Roleplay Namespace page, and ask why it was locked in the first place.

Zorba The Greek was put on the Cut List for being a stub, then someone made it bigger, and it was still cut. Are the cut masters even reading the discussion pages anymore?

Unlock Headscratchers/Headscratchers and redirect it to the main page @ Headscratchers/HomePage for easier navigation.

I can do that without unlocking it.

I don't think we need Various Video Game Views to be locked. The issue was if the pages listed should be allowed to exist, and Eddie resolved that. So it should be open to allow any new tropes that fit on that index.

As the troper who cutlisted Zorba The Greek, I second the unlocking request.

Perhaps the cut-and-lock policy should be weakened to exempt from locking work pages created under the correct title but with inadequate content.

No, we want the auto-lock feature. I unlocked Zorba and the other one above, Various Video Game Views.

Mass Effect RP is still locked. After creating and cutting it twice myself (first time when the RP died and second time when I realised there was a Roleplay Namespace), I was going to simply turn it into a redirect.

To what? I'll just put in the redirect while keeping the page locked.
