So, as a counterpoint to the other thread, this is where we talk about entries that we find incredibly amusing and intelligent. To start us out, I present the entirety of Real Life, which had me cracking up when I first read it.

A WMG for Ouran High School Host Club managed to quickly turn from dark to actually kinda funny.

Kyouya really was trying to rape Haruhi in episode 8

Then he wasn't trying hard...

From The Virus:

Beautiful joke example from The Tick: when reminiscing about past adventures, Captain Decency remembers the time a villain built a superweapon known as the "Ray Gun". This gun functioned by turning anyone it shot into a duplicate of "some guy named Ray", depicted as a gas station attendant with the nickname "Ray" on his coveralls. Cue incredibly creepy Twilight Zone-style black-and-white shot of a town filled with identical Rays saying "Hi, I'm Ray!" to each other over and over. Captain Decency then begins to reminisce about a similar adventure involving a "Tommy Gun" before being cut off.

The first sentence of the Black Swan page is:

Black Swan is a 2010 Darren Aronofsky film. Good Lord, is it ever a Darren Aronofsky film.

It's mostly funny if you've actually seen the movie and also seen enough of his other movies to recognize that he has certain pet themes and a trademark style.

Something from the same page that got me:

Lucky Star doesn't seem to specifically refer to any star that is lucky, although there is quite a bit of symbolic use of a star within the series as a decorative motif, and there is an extended sequence where the characters discuss wishing upon a star. Possibly, it was referring to the Madonna song, which at least vaguely makes sense. Furthermore, the title is spelled Raki ☆ Suta, which is not the proper way to spell Lucky or Star, which ought to be Rakkii and Sutaa respectively. It is a little bit like naming your show "Lukky St'r"

[up][up][up]A related moment from SelfDemonstrating.Mewtwo...

It appears that Charizard has followed my lead and created its own Self-Demonstrating Article, written entirely in roars and grunts. I pity the state of your Internet.

From the description for Stuffed into a Trashcan

By the way, just so things are clear, Oscar the Grouch is not related to this trope at ALL (unless if he was actually shoved into that thing by some other evil puppet *COUGH*Elmo*COUGH* and ended up getting stuck, making him immobile and thus forcing him to call the trashcan his new home and turning him into the grumpy green guy (no, not THAT grumpy green guy) he is today).

I don’t even know anymore.

EnforcedMethodActing:Film:

The movie Starship Troopers has several examples. Key cast members participated in a pre-production 'boot camp' to prepare them for the film's training sequence. Verhoeven stood in for the CGI aliens during filming, running at the actors and screaming like a madman to get more realistic reactions (footage is included on the Special Edition DVD extras). And to make the cast feel more at ease during filming, Verhoeven himself stripped down for the co-ed shower scene (footage is not included on the Special Edition DVD extras).

Not exactly an entry, or even anything done on purpose... but I was on the Real Life subpage of a trope, when I noticed a Nightmare Fuel icon on the top and decided to click on it, figuring I'd land on... A section about things that are nightmare fuel in real life, I guess note . Instead, I got a redirect to the main nightmare fuel page, which, due to how redirects work here, now had the title "Nightmare Fuel aka: Real Life".

[up]Not all of it, to me - some of it comes off as dismissing classic character archtypes.
