So, as a counterpoint to the other thread, this is where we talk about entries that we find incredibly amusing and intelligent. To start us out, I present the entirety of Real Life, which had me cracking up when I first read it.

It's a YMMV trope for a reason.

He who fights bronies should see to itthat he himself does not become a brony. And if you gaze for long into an abyss, Pinkie Pie gazes Also

Tear Jerker, High Octane Nightmare Fuel etc. are pretty hilarious when I don't agree with them.

If you only had the examples on the TV Tropes Accidental Nightmare Fuel and High Octane Nightmare Fuel pages to go by, you would probably come to the conclusion that all Tropers piss themselves in fear whenever an ice cream truck goes by or a sudden gust of wind occurs.

You know what the worst part of it is? Those examples or examples very much like them are probably on the page somewhere.

It doesn't help that this is pretty much the mental image I have of that story.

What about that kind of pretentious post in what beautiful eyes?

This troper is quite fond of her spring-green eyes for their fringe of gold around the pupil and long lashes (and a rather deep, last-in-thought sort of look to them, which is generally how I act). They change colors slightly to reflect what I'm wearing and with white my best friend told me they look really pretty. I don't get many compliments on them but I don't get many compliments from people close enough to see my eyes anyway because they're either deep in a conversation or too thrown by the whole 'quiet, melancholy yet very quick to laugh younger-than-she-looks ninth grader who talks like someone out of the 1800s and knows the answers to all the really complicated math and vocab questions yet somehow doesn't know the simplest things about modern culture and entertainment and is giving you a slightly creepy vacant gaze whilst pressing her fingertips together' bit to say much.

Mary Sues are real.

Ah, thought that was the one, thanks. I'm also glad I'm not the only one who was reminded of Cromartie.

I almost miss TT for the hilariously bad entries. That's why we have other YMMV tropes, though.

Which trope was the pencils for again?

The entry itself is reproduced on the New Media Narm sub-page. Here it is:

Arguably, this Troper is probably the youngest of which who suffers from this Trope. This is practically the invisible label that's under the invisible Berserk Button of this 13-year old kid. He broke 33 pencils in his life, and had a good friend break two of those pencils because they were too hard. He even yelled at someone because that guy was the third person who asked if he could be punched for the third time, with a teacher only a mile ahead!

The last sentence has always confused me a bit, though.

Oh yeah, here's the legendary response to the pencil-breaking entry:

I actually shit myself when I read that. There I realized I wasn't just dealing with the usual horrifyingly egotistical Troper Tale. This person will BREAK YOUR PENCILS without a second thought. Should he meet you, without any regret, he will DESTROY your beloved pencil collection. Your Crayola, your HB, everything. That beloved pencil you had for three years? Snapped in two with no remorse. Even if you reinforce your pencils to try and stop him, he has a good friend, even better in the arts of pencil-snapping. And when he is done, you will be nothing, sobbing in a heap of pencils as broken as your dreams. And he will laugh. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

I miss the Troper Tales for Perverse Sexual Lust. They were hilarious. It's too bad they're not in the archive.
