4/11 is the game's start date, right? I assumed this was going to be an announcement for P4 Portable. Is there anything in particular which suggests an anime?

I'm... not understanding the commercial... It's not exactly screaming Persona4, or Persona at all. Then again, I don't play the games and I stopped watching an LP of P4 almost a year ago...

A Persona 4 anime? I approve. Heartily. The flow of the story perfectly fits the weekly TV show format. Same for Persona 3.

Hoping for a remake I think the game itself would make an awesome anime since it pretty much is one in spirit and tropes.
If its a continuation I hope we get more than just Teddie.

I think the whole thing will turn out okay as long as they don't fuck with characterisation too much. I mean, upgrading Chie and Yukiko to MEGA LESBIANS would be awesome, but then we'd have a blatantly gay Kanji and an openly transgender Naoto, which...isn't awesome.

Now now Kanji isnt that bad and well Naoto would be fine as she is in an anime setting I mean we have Ouran High School Host Club.

I'm not saying I don't like it. I'm just saying that the writers have to be careful, since Kanji's orientation and Naoto's gender were both deliberately ambiguous in the game.

I'm actually disappointed. I vastly preferred Persona 3 to 4, so want a real, good adaption of that over the one we're getting. Given that P4 was received better (though it undersold considerably) I'm not surprised though.
