"So what does that make Yuki over here? Jaded before even doing anything..." Akio shook his head, "Blue probably. No, fun at all. As to enemies, haven't you even watched a couple episodes? Evil aliens come to eliminate the human race for ill defined reasons. Able to level city blocks just by walking around. But I've given away too much already! I'll be shot if I reveal any more of the conspiracy!"
He held a two fingers up to his temple and moved his thumb to indicate being shot, falling towards Kaz dramatically.
"On the other hand," He said smirking up towards Kaz, "If you want to fill them in on what they're like, I promise I won't tell."

"Silly Major! Yuki means "snow"! Snow is white, therefore Yuki is white! Geez, you've gotta go with the Theme Naming, y'know?"
Kazumi cleared her throat.
"Ahem... Ahah, cosmic horrors, what do they teach you kids in school... Nah, you'll be off fighting the evil Angeloids of Dr. Dedsy Skrolz! Doesn't that sound awesome?"
Akihiko looked at the other candidates again. Something told him they still didn't really believe what the NERV officers were saying. Of course, he couldn't tell too well, but it seemed like it a little. He peered around Kazumi. They were drawing ever closer to the doorway.
The captain was exasperated at his superior's actions. How the hell could the major act like this, anyway?
"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up."The captain straightened and walked over to the major the moment he was waved over.
"Yes, sir?" he asked.
Akihiko merely waited for preparations to be completely. They'd be passing through the door, to see the Evangelions, soon enough.

"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up.""You know what they're going to be doing right?" Akio shook his head, "It's not right, Hasashi. You can see them in there, they're just kids. I can see you don't like what I'm doing in there Captain, but in a week these kids will be soldiers. I want them to be able to enjoy the last bit of their childhood. Maybe foster some genuine friendship between them. It's going to be a hard time for them, some of them might not make it out so shouldn't we try to let them enjoy what time they have left as kids?"

The cpatain was silent for a moment, Then, he replied.
"I understand, sir," he said, his tone level. "However, I'm just worried we're setting them up high expectations. One that are going to be crushed when they learn what they're really going to be doing."
"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up.""What are we supposed to say? 'We're dressing you in colour coded uniforms and giant robots to fight against unknown entities the size of several city blocks, we pity you?'" Akio sighed, "It's not something they're going to believe. No matter what we tell them, they're going to go through the same stages of disbelief, excitement and disappointment. Maybe I'm trying to keep them excited for a bit longer than they would be, but I'll be there for the worst of it too."

The captain nodded. Major Musashi had a point. There wasn't really any way to tell these kids what they'd be doing, and have them actually believe it.
"You're right, sir," he replied. "I guess there's really no other way."
Akihiko glanced back at the others again. This... as a pilot for NERV, he decided it was necessary to ask this.
"What do you think you're going to be doing here at this point?" he asked.
"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up."

"What kind of Sentai has someone else pilot for them?" Aiko sighed, "Weren't you listening to me at all?"
