Akihiko quietly walked up to the large vehicle. It was black, the NERV logo a blood red coloration. It was long, rather stretched-looking, built to accomodate even more people then it needed to.
Without a word, he opened the door and climbed into the car. The other officers headed to their own vehicles, leaving the large one for the Major.
"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up."Aiko started the car and started scanning the radio for something appropriate to set the mood.
As Akio started the car, the other officers started their own vehicles. Akihiko san back, having calmed down upon seeing that nothing had come of the almost-thrown punch. He remained as distant as possible from the other kids.

"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up."OOC: Got access to a computer for a brief while. I have to serve for a dinner party.
Sayu tapped her fingers on the wall, embarrassed about what happen. After she heard the truck start moving, she dug into her backpack and got out a music player. She put the headphones on and started listening to a playlist full of pop music.
Akihiko was starting to feel curious. Curiosity was kind of annoying in this situation, because it was curiosity about the other teenagers who were to be his fellow pilots. He looked up and slowly cast his eyes across the others. He certainly wasn't going to talk, conversation was unecessary.
"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up."Yuki nodded along with the song, and smiled, "Sayu, right? You and I have similar music tastes."
"Really?" she said, facing Yuki. She heard the guitar playing from her music player. It was a good song, "Well...I really like pop. I don't really have one favorite artist, but I have a whole playlist of pop songs that I like. I also have some American Pop on here too.
Oh, my name is Sayu. Are you Yuki?"
The truck drove smoothly as it went uphill, probably onto a free-way. It was eerily silent. Too silent for her taste.
"So had you went to any good concerts lately?" she asked, scooting closer.
OOC: Should we call In Spite of a Nail to make things easier when looking up songs. We can just say all singers or band members our characters mentioned survived Second Impact, and pretty much make the same songs that they had made in Real Life.

He nodded merrily, noticing her moving closer, "Yep, that's me! I went to one the other day, its pretty rare nowadays to go to a concert...So, Sayu, have you been to any concerts?"
Yuki was rather glad that he got to go through with this now, not only would he get a whole day off, but now he had a hot girl moving next to him...

Sakura just sits without speaking, deep in thought. If they pulled the kids out of school, it must be something urgent. But what kind of urgent situation would require five random schoolkids? Something here is fishy, but she has no idea what that is or what to do about it.
So for now, she just sits and stares out the window, watching the scenery go by. And hey, NERV is here to protect, right? Maybe she'll be able to help make people safe, she thinks as a small smile spreads across her face.
I'm here now.
Nil, a new sci-fi/horror story that you should read and review! (Updated 4/something) ''The gate opens."Of course," she said, getting into the conversation and music at the same time, "I got one of the middle rows, Row L, I think. I bought this t-shirt with a rabbit icon on it and I bought this great cup of strawberry ice cream that was so icy and delicious, and it melted in a way that it tasted like strawberry milk. During one of the songs, one of my friends, Haruhi, stood up with her sign and started shrieking like what a monkey must sound like. The parent that accompanied us had to give her water in order to prevent her from passing out. It was soooo hilarious!"
She instantly scooted away from Yuki, keeping him outside of her personal bubble.
Akihiko's eyes ended up falling on Sakura for a few seconds more. She seemed... he'd never been able to tell what emotions people were feeling unless it was obvious. He'd once read that this might be due to that fact that he'd never known his parents. Akihiko had never really cared too much about it, though.
The curiosity he felt about his soon to be fellow pilots did make him curious as to what they were thinking, but he wasn't going to start an uneeded conversation.
Soon enough, they passed into a tunnel. In the distance, thick blast doors blocked their way, marked with the NERV insignia.

"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up."

He raised an eyebrow and tilted his head.
"Okay..."
