Mind if I try it with the other symbols, like Excel♥Saga, ∀ Gundam or Maria†Holic? They show up using standard characters unlike that Star symbol.

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!Fate Kaleid Liner Prisma Illya works fine. Maybe is the font you are taking the ☆ from?
Oh, Cross Channel works fine too. But there is a problem with Nanaca Crash (there should be a † here as well).

That was just copied and pasted from the Lucky Charms Title page. It wasn't me who put in the request.
Off-topic opinion: I'm really disliking the recent trend of adding symbols to work titles. Lucky Star is a perfect example; the official site
for the OVA doesn't even use the star (except in the logo, of course), but people are trying to add it in here anyway.
I really just think symbols don't...look nice when included in regular text.

I was searching a bit for this one. I noticed that the ☆ is apart of the series name... In Japanese. In Japanese sites, like the official one
the name always got the star. Maybe is just that the Japanese orographic rules permit such thing, while English rules don't?
Anyway, people are not just randomly adding charms where they don't exist. This one is just weirdly lost in translation.
It might also be that people typing in English seem to have less of an awareness of how to add custom characters to text than people using other alphabets do. If it's not on a keyboard, you don't tend to see it in English. That's why Pokemon is almost always written as Pokemon in English.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickWatch Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei ep 1 sometimes Kafuka tries to add a star in the middle of his name
◊ because he has a bad number of strokes, or adds a @
◊ then write the name horizontally it comes out to be this.
◊
The way Japanese is written vertical the symbol isn't nearly as bad as in english and sometimes the number of strokes in the name are a sign if its good luck or bad luck.
Another question there is a thread for a split of the Negima second season anime called Negima? (with that punctuation.) is there anyway we can do that vs Negima ? (ugh the punctuation sucks lol but that's what it is called.)

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!
That space is going to be for the First season of Negima (at least thats the way Setsuna proposed we use that space for earlier today.) Its one of the most hated animes out there so it would be good to get those tropes off the manga page.

Can we do symbols? Like with Lucky Charms Titles shows up as such? Like Lucky Star should be Lucky☆Star, Excel Saga should be Excel♥Saga, Turn A Gundam should be ∀ Gundam or Maria Holic Maria†Holic .
