She sighed. "I can't believe I'm putting off partially dying for this... and who said anything about not liking the troll? He's fucking awesome!"

"...I know I need to stop letting my emotions control me like this. It's not good for anyone if I'm so angry all the time. It's just hard for me... especially when he insults Holy."

She turned to Kiera. "...What?" She seemed shocked that anyone could tolerate that oaf.

"Well, maybe... maybe I'm the one who's wrong here. Perhaps if I wasn't so uptight, if I could actually be happy for once... God, I don't even know what I'm saying anymore. I just wish I could stop being a clusterfuck of emotional problems and actually be useful..."

"The troll is hillarious! See, that's one thing that being a pirate teaches you. Things are good or bad based on your position. If lightning sets your ship on fire, you're screwed. If lightning sets your enemies' ship on fire, you win. If the Troll makes fun of me, he's target practice. If he makes fun of someone else, he's a commedian."

"...I couldn't if I tried. I'm so alone that, at this point, you people are the closest thing I have to friends. I know that we aren't, and it's completely ridiculous for me to call people I barely know and am only really around just because we all share similar goals friends, but... the truth is, you people are all I have. Knowing just what an outcast I am... how am I supposed to laugh at anything?"

She blinked.

"...Wow, what am I even... I need some sleep."

She goes off elsewhere.

Kvaz looked around in the lab as she shifted through several forms, trying to find one that filled some hitherto unknown criteria. "This place's pretty nifty" He said, currently looking a bit like a member of Fantasy Five, an all-elf boyband that people listened to for some reason. "Kinda takes the fun out of forgery... but hey, it's easier."

Konrad had quietly joined the "harass the SS" crew. He had no talents for infiltration or espionage: He preferred to deal with trouble by shooting it.

"It took 1 week to set up the lab, 100 years to obtain all you see here, and 100 years of learning the basic uses of alchemy and the items' functions, some of which are forgotten from the world. It took me a long time just to reach this stage of mastery, but even now I am still missing something vital." Ether responded, applying an ancient stamp seal on each of the letters.

"I am also sorry if I harmed anyone's feelings, but I had a rather bad experience with Forbidden Alchemy, which branched off from the curse magic line and into my craft. Suffice to say, I don't dislike anyone who personally uses it, but I don't like how it affects the world." She said, sighing. "It has only brought pain and suffering to me and mine so far..."

"That... sounds horrible." Ether responded to Eliza's Heartbreaker. "I will do my utmost to aid you on your quest to be rid of its effects." Ether said resolutely.

"It would be better to capture prisoners", Konrad said. "We could pick an officer's escort. Go all Indonesian on them: Herd them with a trick explosion into Da Big Bomb. Then we snatch one of the survivors, med-bot here patches him up, and we interrogate him at the café's cellar.", Konrad suggested, enjoying himself immensely.

"An SS parade would be best.", the dwarf said. "Maximum law enforcement casualties, minimum collateral damage.", he thought aloud.

Konrad chuckled.

"We are not terrorists. We are insurgents.", he said. "Law enforcement's got lots of things we ain't got. They've got logistics and endless backup. We've gotta hit'n'run, and we've gotta hit'em hard.", he said.

"One mans terrorist is another mans freedom fighter..." Danny perched up, having just woken up. "But I never was much for the namesakes of it all. They can call us fudge-dipped pecker heads for all I care, but if we get whatever needs to get done done, then fuck those who did nothing." Danny began to get up and stretch from the booth. The nap was nice, but it appeared that everyone was just chatting around now. And since there was a distinct lack of service going around, he figured it would be suspicious to be crowded with a bunch of people who were involved in an incident with the SS.

"Well, we all know what we are going to do, right? I suggest we head on to our homes for the evening and try getting some sleep. Tomorrow we will start getting everything set up. Those of us... sentimental... enough should consider this a last day of peace they have." He added, slowly walking across the cafe. "We will all gather here at 8 in the morning and go over things one last time. If anyone wishes to back out, then would be a good time." He stopped by the doorway as he turned back inwards to the cafe and the people inside of it.

"Anyone have any questions or objections?"

"So, all we have to do is set up some shaped charges facing inwards from various points along the route that the parade will take. Then, once we let one off to get them running, detonate several at once to get the destructive force necessary to kill them. The question is, how do we keep civilian casualties to a minimum?"

Lenalee nodded at Danny. "Nope. I think you've just about covered everything. Tomorrow, say around 9, we'll all meet here again. We shouldn't have to worry about any customers with the condition this place is in. From there, we'll split up into our teams."

"Geh..." Cedi shuddered at the words 'Terrorist group'. "I don't like the sound of that, either... but..." he began, regaining his confidence. "There is a difference between screwing with the public and screwing with a group of bad guys trying to act as police. Likewise, there's a difference between commiting a felony and screwing with said latter group," he paused again to wipe his dangling hair away from his face. "Of course, there's nothing a kid like me can do to stop any of you from doing such, just don't expect me to take part in any such efforts. I like to work within my own lines, so don't expect me to work on the bomb plan..."

"... although," he resumed. "I wouldn't mind providing you with a distraction, and make said plan easier for you..." a smirk came across his face, as if he was looking forward to doing such.

"Shaped, relatively small charges should allow us a controlled detonation.", Konrad said. Forcing the SS march to retreat inside of a tunnel (busy for the parade and off-limits to civvies) and collapsing the tunnel down should do the trick. We could get hundreds of those suckers in one blow, without harming civvies, Konrad said.

"Those 'suckers' may have families you know." Danny pointed out from the doorway. "And if we kill any of them without even knowing if they were up to something bad, then we really would be terrorists wouldn't we? No, harass them and agitate them, but don't outright hurt or kill them. We do something monstrous, we will be labeled as such. Well, you all will anyway. I'll be busy doing whatever from within their ranks." He added with a small chuckle. "So if none of you have any questions, I'm gonna go home. Oh, before I forget..."

Danny looks around the counter for a moment and grabs a feather quill, eying it with a puzzled look for a moment before scribbling down on a piece of paper some barely-legible numbers. "My cell number, Should something happen." He added as he put the quill back, and carefully slip the paper between a picture frame and a wall. "Night folks. Try not to be too reckless out there." He added as he walked through the doorway, and started down the streets.

"Thank you, Ether. It takes a big weight off my back to know someone like you will help me with my problem" Eliza said, truly feeling quite relieved. With a capable alchemist like her helping the warrior, she was certain her curse will be gone in no time.

"Alright then, of our little investigation group... Will we all go as diplomats? Maybe some of us should appear as secretaries, bodyguards or maybe service staff. I think only those with the greatest theatrical skills should actually go as diplomats. Those unsure of being able to maintain the facade might like to take on one of the roles I suggested"

"Well, the troll is obviously a bodyguard, for I know of no other roles for him to be in. Someone with great epsionage skill should be a secretary or a nonimportant member of the staff, so as to not attract undue attention, while articulate speakers/great negotiators should be disguised as important political figures to stall for time." Ether responded, finally finished with her paperwork.

"As Lenalee said, we will meet back here tomorrow to assume our positions, so it would be prudent to choose your role in the hours before the next day." The elf said.
