Huor was stopped by Shok. Might as well see what he wants.
"Yeah, what is it?" He wasn't in the mood to talk, really, but he'd do it all the same. He had a gloomy expression on his face, and his eyes showed he wasn't quite there, thinking more about the earlier dilemma than this.
It took him a moment to realize what Shok was asking. "Oh, everythings... fine. We should get back to the compound, round up Pharril and start investigating that leak." Truthfully, he didn't want to right now, but he never could find time alone. This was no different.

"You lost, Dio. You lost for one simple reason - you were using charcoal." - Hank Hill"Something was....wrong here. Did you feel as if anything was out of out of place? Anyone acting weird? I'm not sure what to look for, but I'm in the right place, I know it!" This would not go unadressed.

To the law and for the good of man. All I need to live by.Huor only raised an eyebrow. This has to be fake, or a coincidence at most. "I'd advise you not to worry about it. It probably wasn't anything important, whatever happened."

"You lost, Dio. You lost for one simple reason - you were using charcoal." - Hank HillShok was determined to find of the source of this madness, his madness, but he could still see that he wouldn't get far with the elf.
"It seems that my feelings were unjustified, in which case. Pardon for the disturbance." Shok said, moving past Huor. Without any other words, he made his way to the inside of the estate.
To the law and for the good of man. All I need to live by.Huor walked on, heading to the compound, but taking his time getting there. He briefly considered pulling out his Ocarina and playing a tune, but he decided against it. He was too distracted to play a decent tune, anyways.
I wonder where everyone is right now..., he found himself thinking, but only briefly.

"You lost, Dio. You lost for one simple reason - you were using charcoal." - Hank HillAs Huor walked, he became increasingly absorbed in his thoughts.
He was at a loss as to what to do with himself. He felt like... some kind of potion someone might create, the ingredients being applied frequently and in large amounts, mixing together until the pressure was too much and the cap exploded off releasing a powerful force continuously until the one creating it could rush over and close it again, the pressure lessening as more ingredients were added... resulting in a repeat down the line.
When he looked back at the way things were, they seemed... content. He did what he needed to do to get by, not really worrying about the way things were. But now... he wasn't so sure. It was chas, and Huor just wanted to leave it. Coming back here resulted in him exploding in frint if Shift.
Was it even worth it to stay, if that was what he would do? Explode unintentionally and immediately at any mention of the past, of Yeliena? Huor couldn't be sure... he couldn't ever be sure anymore.
Huor finally reached the Tal Vashoth compound once again. "I would like to speak to Shiala again, if i may." He tried to sound a bit more civil than he had acted, but his eyes still gave away his emotions.

"You lost, Dio. You lost for one simple reason - you were using charcoal." - Hank HillShok never understood why humans were so obsessed with possesing such ornate housing. They wouldnt need all of these servants and butlers if they stuck to was practical, things like, say, using stone as the building material, or broadening the foundation as they did in Par Vollen. Even the wood that they used had forsaken durability for aesthetic quality. At least then you could more easily decipher where was where.
Shok raised his voice into the air."May I speak to the head of this household?", he said.
To the law and for the good of man. All I need to live by.Shok had thought for a long moment before speaking.
"Im not entirely sure what I am talking about. Maraas imekari, I may be. Something just felt wrong. At first it felt stupid, extremely stupid, but then there was despair and uncertainty." said Shok, with an uncertainty of his own. "The feeling made me come here, I had no descision in the matter."
For a few seconds, all he could do was pace, back and forth, to and fro, his heavy footseps echoing through the floors above and below. He spoke again. "I'm not sure what to ask for, but was there something....off, something more inane or nonsensical than usual going on?" He was looking for different words, but those would have to do.
To the law and for the good of man. All I need to live by.Velia had been waiting outside the compound for a while, getting slightly impatient.
"Wish they'd hurry up with the damn politics," she said to Yeliena. "I'm ready to do our task." She smirked, visions of expensive weaponry dancing in her head. She sighed inwardly. They had a job, so she'd have to restrain herself... maybe.
Nothing to see here. Move along.Yeliena smiled at Velia.
"They're taking a long time, sure. Still, can't say I'd rather deal with the politics myself.", she said, shrugging.
Maria shook her head. "No, didn't notice anything at all."
Then she made a short pause. "You said you... felt something?", she asked. "Interesting: perhaps you're actually a Mage!", she said, smirking.
Shiala made a dismissive gesture.
"We did not wish to murder bas civilians., she explained. "We were going to assault the Ben Hassrath: Stuff would blow up, and people would die. So the Duke and his men were alerted, so they could put their folk out of harm's way."
The Tal Vasoth mage got up, clasping a fist in anger.
"Courtesy was rewarded with treachery: Ben Hassrath were alerted. Instead of a clean hit, it was a bloodbath.", she said. "Someone ratted us out: The Duke knew, his spymaster knew, the guard-captain knew. Who knows? Perhaps everyone knew, if they're that incompetent."

You exist because we allow it and you will end because we demand it.Shok was no less tense after her joking hypothesis than he when had come across the feeling, and the possiblity of magic influence didn't settle well with him.
"Nothing so abbhorent I would like to think. It's certainly a sad thing when the only people in a society who have a with any forsight against stupidity are prone to demonic possesion because of it." That didnt help his anxiety. "Was there anyone else in here besides you and the freedman?"

To the law and for the good of man. All I need to live by."Magic, abhorrent?", she casually asked. "It's a gift from the Maker!", she said, mildly annoyed.
"There's no denying that it carries certain responsibilities, though.", she said, diplomatic.
"The Fereldan and the shapeshifter are still in here."

You exist because we allow it and you will end because we demand it."As the hissra would tell you, may you be content with. I'll have word with the shapechanger, if you'd be kind enough to point me to its location." It seemed to be the greater of two evils, but it appeared to Shok as if that thing was more likely a canidate for such radiant madness.
To the law and for the good of man. All I need to live by." Well, I don't think even a shem lord could be that incompetent. " Pharril sneered. " But here is the evidence before my eyes." He shook his head. " Pathetic little vermin. We will find this rat, this turncoat. And we will... deal with him."
He turned to Huor. " I'm ready to go. What about you?"
Your legacy shall drift away, blown into eternity, like the sands of the desert."Same." Huor had too much on his mind right now to say anything else.
Firstly, he now got the gnawing feeling that he had upset Shift, and hadn't apologized enough there. He knew he would need to speak to Shift at some point and try to... explain the problems leading to that explosion of emotion a bit better.
Secondly, he needed to speak with... Yeliena about the Arlathan ruins and find out what they'd discovered, if anything.
Thirdly... he had nowhere to stay at in Llomerryn. He could always sleep in a tree nearby the entrance to Llomerryn to alleviate that. In fact, he knew just the place that he could use. Besides, he had been keeping away from other people and anything like that for long before a month ago.

"You lost, Dio. You lost for one simple reason - you were using charcoal." - Hank HillThe pair exited the compound at a brisk pace, and Pharril immediately began to speak.
" Well, I think we need to... interview these men personally, if we are to discover the traitor. Or we could just kill them all. That would plug the leak." Pharril said to Huor as they walked. He shrugged casually. " The second option seems easier."
Your legacy shall drift away, blown into eternity, like the sands of the desert.Huor shook his head, muttering a sentence that was almost incomprehensible, save for a few words such as "Why... Dalish... Asshole..." He turned to Pharril. "Were interrogating them, plain and simple. Don't do anything drastic unless i call for it, alright?"
"You lost, Dio. You lost for one simple reason - you were using charcoal." - Hank HillPharril sighed. " Always the more difficult way..." He muttered. " Fine, fine, I'll be diplomatic and all that stuff. So shall we start with the spymaster? Or maybe the guard captain? I'm sure we could get the truth out of them without killing them."
Your legacy shall drift away, blown into eternity, like the sands of the desert."Who's the spymaster? Maria?", Yeliena asked.
Ulrich cleared his throat. "A deserter grey warden. A psychopathic heretic. A Templar of questionable morality. A petty thief. A bloodthirsty Qunari. A Tevinter mercenary. A somber Circle Mage... and a shapeshifter. We don't look like the sort of crowd that the Guard-Captain would grant audience to.", he observed, slightly shrugging.
Maria took Shok to Jordan and Shift.

You exist because we allow it and you will end because we demand it.

Maria and her mabari appeared before the shapeshifter. She was smiling, polite and friendly.
"Would you like something to eat? Drink?", she asked.
The Antivan's library was impressive: It mostly dealt with magic and history, ancient and modern. There were some books on myth and legend, a few, summary religious treatises and quite a small but focused assortment of books on elven sorcery, Tevinter blood magic, Rivaini shamanism, and demonology.
It did not rival the Circle's library, but it was probably the single largest private collection Jordan had ever seen.
The gardener opened the gates for Shok. The household mabari was quite tense, barking at him twice.
