I went on vacation last week, and I finally got to see this show for the first time. I'm loving it so far. As of this post, I've only seen 6 episodes, those being in order: The DVD, The Spoon, The Prank, The Ghost, The Laziest and the Robot. Unfortunately, I'm probably going to have to wait another year to see all the episodes because torrents for the episodes are practically non-existent and Teletoon hasn't gotten this show for their Fall '11 lineup.

The Picnic was a mixed bag for me. I laughed a fair bit, but those animals were pure Accidental Nightmare Fuel. Especially the thing that the kids were trying to hunt down. O_O Aside from that, the episode was predicated on Too Dumb to Live... nearly. I hope they don't wear that trope out in later episodes.
I saw that episode where they tried to return the game, which is a lot like that episode of Regular Show ("But I Have a Receipt"), but with Gumball's funny dad instead. The Reveal of the manager's identity and the ensuing fallout was funny.
The next ep looks really funny, even though it revolves around Gumball and Darwin being dumb on purpose. I look forward to it.

I'm glad I'm not the only one. That thing was dancin' all over the Sliding Scale of Comedy and Horror.
It seems there aren't any new episodes scheduled for the next two weeks. I wonder why.
I checked out Ben Bocquelet's twitter page
and he mentioned a couple interesting things about the show:
- Granny Jojo will be making a reappearance.
- Carrie and her parents live in haunt a suburban home.
- We may see some more of other kids' parents.
- Those two peanut people we saw in "The DVD" during the chase scene are Penny's parents and their family name is "Fitzgerald".
"The Sock" was hilarious. Possibly my favorite case of Laser-Guided Karma ever.
Hopefully this production
stuff
will tide us over as the show goes on another break for at least the next two weeks.
I actually kind of like this show, which surprised me because I thought it was going to suck. That Mr. Small guy is the funniest character in my opinion. SILENCE Snake was hilarious. And the one where he commanded Gumball and Darwin like a drill sergeant over interpretive dance was funny, too.
Some of the character designs are a little too 'cutesy' for my taste, though. The 2D characters suffer the most from this. Mrs. Simian, Mr. Small, The Grouchy Neighbors, and Richard are the best looking in character design. Not very cutesy, but pretty cool looking. I really like Richard's 'Mischievous' face, reminds me of those deformed looking rape faces you see all over the internet.
Also: Why is everyone oppressed with the ghost girl, Carrie? If you search up Gumball on Google images or Deviant Art, your bound to find a quite a few pics of her, along with Gumball's Mom. Gumball's Mom I can understand, but Carrie? What's so special about her?

I thought the funniest part was when Richard failing to Pec Flex so hard he couldn't even keep his moobs from pointing straight down.
Apparently the show has a Japanese dub.
And Gumball's Japanese voice is Naruto ...Or So I've Heard. O_o

GUNDAMU GUNDAMU
He said all of one word, but I still don't think that's Junko Takeuchi.
Anyway, the series does have a surprising amount of international release for a show that's only been around for seven month. It's also already airing in South Africa and India, and probably some other places.

"The Picnic":
Is it safe to say naked Gumball is a Running Gag at the point? I was half-expecting Gumball to respond by eating Darwin's shoes.
