Ignorance Is Bliss

You Do NOT Want to Know

The former is named for a phrase that basically means "sometimes it is more pleasant to be unaware of something unpleasant" which happens to be the theme of the latter. However, the former doesn't actually seem to be about this, but the description doesn't exactly make clear what it IS about...

Difference is that in Ignorance Is Bliss character doesn't know intentionaly, but if someone told him he would be horrified. He also doesn't actively seek truth.

In You Do NOT Want to Know is when someone wants to know but others tell him he doesn't want to know. In effect,nhe wants to know truth but other tell him that Ignorance Is Bliss.
