NOH-STALGIA DURIVU!
BAKU TO ZA MAIRU!
I'd have preferred either of those over D-mail :P

I'll turn your neocortex into a flowerpot!NOH-STALGIA DURIVU! would've been infinitely better. Or maybe "YURI FIELDO!" XD
And that event horizon scene reminded me why I watch this show. That was sweet as hell.

I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serialHee hee, I got quite a kick out of all the shout outs when they were trying to come up with a name for the mails. And also with how the round table is "In your heart."
Okarin's black hole nightmare/Mind Screw coupled with Kurisu's pep talk really screams "PAY ATTENTION HERE" and is really making me look forward to when things inevitably explode. Some heavy shit is going to go down, I can feel it. I loved the music during that scene, too.
I was hoping in the beginning that they were going to explain what the significance of the crashed satellite was beyond a harbinger of the weird juju going down, but alas, that was not the case.
My Megaman and MegaTen RPG LiveblogsI liked it when they did some actual science this episode. Wish they would've let us watch Kurisu do her experiments though. Oh well, at least we got more Moeka
Also, I have a theory. We've pretty much established Suzuha is from the future, right? Well, who's the only other human who's traveled back in time? That's right, John Titor. Whose grand entrance did Okarin shift to the year 2010? John Titor's.
Now then, exactly who showed up right after the shift occurred and John Titor arrived in 2010? Suzuha did. Suzuha, the girl from the future. Someone with the means, the reasons and of course, a Voice with an Internet Connection. Ergo,
Suzuha is John Titor

Its just obvious enough that I think its too obvious.
She's definitely from the future, but I'll hold out on her being John Titor.
Really fantastic episode all around though. Will be interesting to see what Moeka brings to proceedings.
Okarin is also not nearly as insane as he lets on, he was trying to keep the secret, and he definitely realizes just how much shit this might land them all in.
You mean this wasn't obvious from the beginning?
I'm pretty disappointed in Daru though. And everyone else too I guess. Shouldn't it be obvious that they don't talk about this in front of other people? What with the whole conspiracy theory thing that they actually have evidence for?
It was pretty hilarious though. Almost as great as NUH-STALGIA DURIVU!
I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serialJohn Titor is either Suzuha or Moeka. Mark my words.
Incidentally, I've run into an interesting principle here. Normally, I quickly get bored of the protagonist; whatever unique trait they oringinally had bleeding out of my perception of them due to sheer overexposure or because he's normally he one reacting to the others.
Here, the opposite is happening. Okarin is just so hammy, strongly characterized, voiced by Mamoru Miyano and scene-stealing that the other characters end up looking bland by comparason. Even though they're not really.

^I am absolutely shocked to find a protagonist as marvelously likeable and entertaining as Okarin in an anime adapted from a visual novel, whose M Cs are usually personality-less insufferable milquetoasts.
I'll turn your neocortex into a flowerpot!Episode 7 is up. I'm with John Titor's Witness. Have you accepted Houoin Kyouma as your Lord and Savior?

It just causes Dr. Pepper to not be out of stock, how convenient.

Read all of my fanfics!Well, it makes sense, what with her being a Voice with an Internet Connection pretty much 24/7.
I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serialIve got a feeling that Okabe is mildly Schizophrenic. i don't know any schizophrenic people, but i do know about the disorder due to a paper i wrote in college a couple years ago. Thinks he is a mad scientist and has a ridiculous evil laugh. Is clearly constantly paranoid and retreats to an imaginary phone conversation when things get too weird or his actions are questioned. Several other smaller details as well. however, this could all just be an act, so we will have to wait and see.
Also, I know I generally have my goggles on way too tight, but seriously, Kurisu's pinging the Gaydar like crazy.

^ That part seemed more like Okarin being Okarin, to me, rather than a mistake on the writer's part.
