^I've been thinking the exact same thing :P
As to the episode: it resolved Okabe and Kurisu's relationship perfectly, and also more or less how I expected ( though of course she just has to not quite get there in time to completely tell him she loves him...although major points for having him come right out and say it, complete with two onscreen kisses). Also, that is one hell of a cliffhanger. I'm actually rather sad to see this show coming to an end; I really hope it gets licensed, cuz I'd purchase it in a heartbeat.
I'll turn your neocortex into a flowerpot!^^^ By the way, I think it was four. First was stiff, second was relaxed, third was in the mood, the last was climax.

<— this can't even be called a next-on but eh. Looks a little on the depressing side. Regardless, if Okabe doesn't save Kurisu, he should do some stretching exercises from a tree.

What I expected: I expected Kurisu to go back and tell Daru to delete the data, and for Okabe to be emotionally destroyed by it.
What I got: One of the most heartwarming/heartbreaking romance scenes I've seen in an anime to date. Just that it did BOTH at the same time. At best we get the heartwarming a la FMA:Brotherhood ending or the heartbreaking a la Angel Beats! ending. Steins;Gate did BOTH at the same time for extreme effect.
I have to say that I really like that this story doesn't hold anything back.

Democracy is the process in which we determine the government that we deserveI almost missed the end. Only reason why I let it play while doing other things is that it wasn't the usual ED. And then the music got slightly distorted and keyboard clicking sound...and yeah.
So these WERE four kisses (yay, I can still count?). ...Four Is Death? That makes the scene even more of a bittersweet Tear Jerker!
Never Give UpI knew I'm jaded when I kept expecting someone to cluelessly wander in to the lab, as they are so wont to do during times like those. I really have to give props to the seiyuus, as this series is built almost entirely on dialogue, and if they hadn't been putting in the effort they have, it wouldn't be half as entertaining.
So, two more episodes to go. I'm definitely going to give this series a second viewing at some point after it ends.

I need to get a better encode. Horrible subs truly are horrible for this. What does everybody else use?
Read all of my fanfics!![]()
Hah. There's no way the writers would allow that. The depressing moments never get interrupted.
Horrid usually have their subs up first, so you'll have to get used to it. In fact, I haven't seen many other subs for this show. UTW-Mazui seems to have dropped it after episode one, funny that. Nameless Subs seem to have a lot of approves there and they've already released 21. You might want to check them out.
Nameless eh? I'm pissed Mazui dropped it. They are fast and have great quality. I've also heard Stein Subs are good.
Read all of my fanfics!EDIT: Ah, so Funimation already got hold of it; somehow I figured it'd be them. Can't wait to get it stateside.
And so it was four kisses? Huh, missed that.

I'll turn your neocortex into a flowerpot! If they didn't know about the time machine, why would they still post the bomb threat to shut down the train lines?
And I honestly cannot believe that they didn't know about the time machine. One of the conditions for the creation of the time leap machine is that the machine must be connected to the Large Hadron Collider. As the series explained it, SERN could tap into the Future Gadgets Lab as soon as this connection was established. As long as the time leap machine exists and is working, it is impossible for SERN not to know about it.

...
Nicely played, show.
Although, with two episodes left it was obvious that this wasn't really the ending...
