Been a while, so I could use a refresher. Why did Echo get that name?
Also, for those who missed it, 99 was the name of that one malformed clone who couldn't really fight and was made a janitor, but got to see combat once, briefly when Kamino was attacked, and he died fighting. Thus, the unit of mutated clones is Unit 99 in his honour.
IIRC, when he was green Echo would repeat orders back and such, and that Character Tic gave him his name.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. Also, that spider general guy. Didn't he die in an "earlier" arc? Earlier being subjective in this case. All that would really mean is that this arc is set before that one.
Jeez that animation upgrade. Disney putting their money to use for a good cause.
Your preferences are not everyone else's preferences. He unceremoniously showed up alive again in Season 6 with new cyborg parts. It's actually kind of funny given in his very first appearance they talked about him unexpectedly surviving a previous presumed death.

Trench seemingly died very early in the series, and relatively early in the war; this is much later in the war, coming right up to the end. He didn't have any cybernetics back then, though, so the implication is that he survived that battle but lost a lot of his organic parts.

I do like his new look.
"They truly were a Aqua Teen Hunger Force"He first turned up alive in the first episode of Season 6.
So. Someone refresh my memory. Not about Echo. I went back and watched all of the episodes Echo appeared in to do that. Wookiepeedia can show you all media for a character in chronological order, which is super convenient.
No, I'm curious about the titular Bad Batch. Squad 99. I thought those guys were going to be the dudes from "Clone Cadets" who had to figure out how to work as a team, but that actually was Echo and Fives's unit. Instead, the moment these guys set foot onscreen, I was pretty sure I know them from somewhere else.
Isn't there a Star Wars comic where these guys are elite Stormtroopers trying to kill Luke, Han, and Leia? Or something like that?
My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.It's good to be back. It's like the show never left.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?I would not be surprised to learn that the Bad Batch and SCAR Squadron are a single group with a continuity of membership. But the Clones are (probably) not part of it by the time it pops up in the comics.
Kreel is not a Clone after all
I'm A Pervert not an Asshole!I'm curious, will we get the infamous Padmé Nose Art? It's was hilarious to see it on the uncut reel but some folks are saying that it will be cut from the finished product.
There's an Anakin version in fanart XD it's amazing

That was Fives. Echo was his friend, the other clone surviving from the episode Rookies, who seemingly perished at the Citadel in Season 3.
