Star Wars: The Dark Wars (or something like that) would be a great way to follow up with the Jedi who survived Order 66

[up] I was referring to a potential animated successor to TCW, not the live-action.

[up] The problem with the live action show is how expensive it would be. They want film quality graphics for SW Underworld. It'll probably never see the light of day so it would likely be just as well to use those scripts for another animated show. And 7X22 is 178 episodes which would bring the episode total 'closer' to 200. The closer to 200 the better for syndication.

I personally feel that 10 would be a good number, it seems to round thing out nicely.

You know, the more I think about it, the more it seems that Clovis has a chance of not dying this season. It's the fact that one of the episode titles is named "The Rise of Clovis". The episode title alone seems to indicate that Clovis goes through some sort of rise in status or importance. Would the writers kill him off after such a rise in prominence? Possibly. But it also leaves the possibility that he won't.

Of course, Clovis is still on my list of people that have a probability of dying this season, though I'm not writing him off as simply dead meat.

Also, in case your interested, the list of people that I think have a probability of dying in Season 5 are:

1. Maul

2. Savage

3. Fives

4. Satine

5. Clovis

6. Embo

@Akash,

I love TCW but I'm not sure my attention span will hold for 10 season. lol.

@Stevron

My bet is on all of the above except Fives. <<;

I hope we get some more info on Fives in season Five.

Seerow: With DVD sales now a big part of a show's longevity, the syndication cutoff is only 83. If you get up above 100, you're gold, no matter how long you keep going.

And it looks like from this article the dude who wrote the Umbaran arc will be working on the upcoming Maul arc in season 5. http://spinoff.comicbookresources.com/2012/07/25/cci-star-wars-the-clone-wars-teases-big-things-for-ahsoka/

So, what characters who haven't appeared yet would you like to see on the show?

Personally, I'm rather surprised that Agen Kolar hasn't shown up, yet. I have no particular attachment to the character, or anything, but you'd think he'd have been featured by now.

I personally wouldn't mind seeing the galactic marines in action (to the point where I even got a fanfic idea involving them), especially seeing they only appeared for a few seconds in Rot S.

I'm just wondering how Ashoka is going to bite it. Aside from that vision where an older version of herself warned her to stay away from Anakin, we all know she is going to die. It's just how is she going to die.

She doesn't have to die. She could just leave.

Honestly I have a hard time imagining Ahsoka will die before the events of ROTS. I think Anakin would still have been pretty torn up about it. Its quite possible Ahsoka is simply writen off and somewhere off in the Galaxy far from Anakin's mind.

I personally hope that Ahsoka doesn't die primarily because I want to see how she deals with the Empire and her Master's betrayal.

[up] I feel like the chances of Ahsoka surviving Order 66 if she's still in the Order are slim to none. I'm willing to bet that she's going to leave the Jedi at some point, instead.

[up][up][up][up][up] I don't think they'll kill her off because the character is a fan-favorite; she has too many fans. In fact, she's one of the main reasons some fans of Star Wars watch this show. I think she'll survive through the Clone Wars. I can see five of the following possible scenarios regarding her fate:

- She's excommunicated from the Jedi Council because of her relationship with Lux.

- She's sent under another Jedi's tutelage, such as Plo Koon, because the Council finds Anakin to be a bad influence on her.

- She was off fighting somewhere else in the galaxy during ROTS. Not a scenario that would set well with some fans.

- She becomes a Jedi Knight and is no longer under Anakin's tutelage. Not a scenario that would sit well with many fans. In fact, it could very well bring back accusations of her being a Mary Sue again.

- She leaves, which seems to be an unlikely scenario.

[up] She can't graduate to Knight, at least under Anakin's tutelage. If she did, Anakin would have the rank of Master, and not having it is a plot point in Episode III.

[up][up] As I see things it's not matter of if she dies or not. The question is, whether she's killed on the show, or in the EU. I'm for once a huge fan of Ahsoka, and that's exactly why'd I prefer if they killed her off within the series. I don't want her fate to be left in the claws of the Expanded Universe.

Also all of the possibilities you listed, are bound to end with her death.

-Even if she will leave the Order for Lux, she still will be hunted down regardless. There's no chance Vader would let her escape. If nothing else he'd try to convert her to the Dark Side and kill her if she refuses. Or if she does join him, then she'll die hunting down Jedi. - Being knighted/reassigned to another master/fighting somewhere neither guarantees her survival.

[up]

Actually, I think that would explain why was Anakin so furious when the Council refused to give him the Master title. This show gave a lot more depth to his character, so his the previous EU-characteisation can pretty much be considered retconned. On the other hand the Deception-arc did show us how scr*wed up the Council's (meaning Windu's) morality became. Refusing to give Anakin the title simply out of distrust, and not because he didn't deserve it...yeah after what they pulled with Obi-Wan I really can see it happening.

BadWolf21 Since: May, 2010

The problem in the movie was that he was appointed to the Council, but wasn't being given the title of Master. If he had successfully trained Ahsoka, this should have already come up.

Werebazs Since: Sep, 2011

[up] I doupt the mere fact of succesfully training a padawan, would automatically give a Jedi the Master rank. Sure it is a criterion, but certainly not the only one. I know according to the EU it is, but frankly, I always considered it to be one of it's many silly quirks. It's just ridiculous to even assume, that every Knight who finished the training of a Padawan is immediately elevated to Master rank. So what I'm saying is that, if they refused to give Anakin the title, despite he trained Ahsoka to knighthood, and defeating Dooku, it would justify he's outrage.

Either way, there is almost no way that Ahsoka is just a Jedi Knight doing her Jedi thing while Episode III is happening. Why? Because there's no drama in that. It's not interesting. What happens to Ahsoka is intimately tied to Anakin's characterization. Having her just graduate and leave really does nothing to push Anakin further toward Palpatine, not to mention that it would be out of character for Ahsoka.

[up] You know, nothing says that Ahsoka HAS to tie into Anakin's characterization. Ahsoka's there for the female fanbase of the show(same thing with Korra in the Avatar series) and to show a different side of Anakin, which is him as a teacher.

[up][up][up][up]Also Werebazs, I don't think you have to worry about Ahsoka being ruined by the EU. I think Lucas Film will make a sequel series set during the Imperial Era with Filoni at the helm of it. That could continue her story.

Either way, she'll die eventually, but I don't think she'll die during the Clone Wars era.
