Are you sure that's right? Darkstalkers 3/Vampire Savior ended on a cliffhanger for pretty much everyone. Besides, wasn't Lilith Morrigan's Final Boss in that game? I don't even think Morrigan ran into Jedah in her storyline.

Just going by the Darkstalkers wiki, which the wiki seems to disagree with...
I don't actually own the third game so I can't check jack crap...

Anyway, if there's a new Darkstalkers, they'll more than likely find some reason to bring Lilith back. Possibly even in her original conceptualization, ie as an angel.

I've got Darkstalkers Chronicle: The Chaos Tower, and I'm about 80% sure that Jedah is the final boss for Morrigan in that. She definitely fights him.

The PSP can't do the game justice. Playing a fighting game with that small thing HURTS.

Nah, thats condescending. Akuma/ Oni would make just as much sense, since there is no Oni Demon in Darkstalkers.

Thus, it would be perfect for making the Capcom fighting games one big whole universe.

The beauty is that all three of them would fit. Oh and the PSP version rocks IMO.

I just don't see why Akuma needs to be shoehorned into everything, not to mention that (going by Power Levels), he'd get massacred by any Darkstalker at B Class or higher (for the record, C Class Darkstalkers can solo entire platoons of humans). Given her quirks, I think Tessa would have a better dynamic with the cast than Mr. "I need to find an opponent who can actually kill me". Besides, Red Earth Needs More Love and it could be easily be integrated into Darkstalkers. Street Fighter is all-encompassing as is.

Also, Bishamon is a demon ghost samurai zombie.

I was going to say I'd rather take Akuma out of games that he's already in rather than put him in anymore, but then all that talk about him getting massacred made me think twice.

I'd like to see crazy weird new things would be more interesting to me than guests.

Alright X 2 X how about Final Bison and Gill then, how will they fair against the darkstalkers crew huh?

They're probably up there, maybe around B or A. I'd say that Gill is a Physical God, but Yun and Yang did fight him to standstill 2-on-1 in 3rd Strike, so I'll willing to bet that Class S Darkstalkers (who are equal parts Physical God and Reality Warper) like Jedah, Morrigan, or Belial or characters like Anita (believed to be the future leader and savior of humanity) wouldn't have a hard time curbstomping him. And I'm pretty sure that Final Bison falls a bit below Gill, so he'd probably fare worse.

Moving on, if there is one character I want to see updates to todays standards, it is Jedah. Him and his fighting would be glorious with some updated visuals.

To quote the characters page, Jedah in 3D "would make Mortal Kombat look like Clayfighter" by comparison.

Akuma can destroy an Island with a single punch, Split ayers rock in half with the shockwave of his Kongou Kokuretsu-zan and as shin akuma, punched a meteor that would destroy the earth into dust.

I would say he would be at least S class as shin akuma and Mid to Hi S-class as Oni.

Regular Akuma and Final Bison and Gill are all around A-rank.

You're giving them all waaaaaay too much credit, though. Akuma, Bison, and Gill are on the same level as beings that can create entire dimensions in their sleep? Yes, their abilities are explicity superhuman, but SF is the low man on the totem pole when it comes to the supernaturnal. I don't even think characters like Dante or Amaterasu could do more than maybe fight these guys to a standstill, and I'm pretty sure they could mop the floor with Akuma/Bison/Gill/etc. Belial would easily rip those guys out of reality like he did with Demitri, and I'm quite sure Jedah and a full-power Morrigan are capable of similar feats.

Now your giving too little credit to Ammy for being the Shinto Godess of the sun. In her Shiranui form, she probably is THE strongest character capcom has.

She's definitely up there, but I wouldn't say Ammy's the absolute pinnacle out of all the characters Capcom has ever created.

Its probably Asura so far. With Darkstalkers and Ammy a close second.

Asura seems to be as far as it goes in the physical sense, but there are still characters in Darkstalkers that can create and end entire dimensions by thinking about it. That's... well that's pretty strong.

Had myself some serious playthroughs of the games now. My opinion on each:

Vampire: lol The World Warrior. Though you gotta love its simplicity. Pyron is an asshole. Also, the AI in general is surprisingly cheap
Hunter: Very refined, but the production values look awkward, mostly the character art and music compositions. Looks too much like a Hyper Fighting Edition due to the odd recolors. I like the combo system
Savior: I can see why everyone disregards the first two installments and skips on over to this one. Its that damn good, and Pyron, Donovan and Huitzil were kinda plain anyway, so no big loss (shame about Anita, though). This game really takes some getting used to do because its so fucking fast. If Super Turbo was just a little slower, I might actually stand a chance. Same with this.
Hunter/Savior 2: Why was this necessary? (... the attract mode is oddly attractive o_O)

So, to prevent ourselves (read: ME) from going insane, let's make a fighter!
