Most people think Birdo's a female, so it doesn't matter what she's supposed to be. Besides, Birdo's generally paired with Yoshi.

Most definitely. This is probably the one series where having guests would actually be justifiable and not detract from the concept of the game, seing as there are so many supernatural Capcom series out there that mesh well with Darkstalkers. To name a few, Ghosts N Goblins/Gargoyles Quest, Devil May Cry, Red Earth, Chaos Legion, Onimusha... Now, if Capcom were smart, they could easily dig these series back up alongside Darkstalkers and pool 'em together.

Then again, Darkstalkers is what you'd describe as a mishmash of bizarre fetishes and TheMisfits. Or at least I think that's how Hardcore Gaming 101 described it.

I don't know why it can't happen. Most, if not all of the crossovers imply that the different franchises share the same universe, just separated by time and space.

Considering what's present in other Capcom titles, that's hardly surprising.

Male version of the subuccus. According to descriptions in the series, they would an interesting addition if done right.

Lilith was originally gonna be an Incubus, than a Transgender, than finally became a full female.

After discovering that Hsien Ko is supposed to be the Chinese version of a vampire, I'd like to see more stuff like that. As in, different cultures takes on creatures. I find that kind of stuff intriguing.

I'd like a Dullahan and a kitsune (3-4 tailed).

Or maybe a just a 9 tailed fox as a boss in general. when at 9 tails, Kitsunes are practically on a level worthy of the shinto gods.

That's why I said 3-4 tails, powerful, but not undefeatable.

Whatever, they would have put in horrible 3D Models instead of HD 2D Sprites, tone down or remove Jedah for a Teen Rating, remove Midnight Bliss, have on disk DLC, and then make a new version just a few months later.

This was the last straw. Taunting me with a new Darkstalkers and then going "What? No we aren't gonna make a new one. What are you, stupid?"

Ugh.

I'm just gonna wait and see how this plays out, the last remaining shred of faith I have in Capcon is riding on this...
