Not sure if it's just the TRS forum or all of them, but threads that I've not been to seem to be opening at the end of the page, down by the bottom ad and add post button, rather than the top of the thread.

EDIT: Using Chrome, Windows Vista.

Tried a thing. Did it help? It works w/Chrome on W7. I don't have Vista to test with.

Can't duplicate it, dude. Don't know what to tell you. Are you using the latest Chrome?

Do the URLs you're taken to have a target? This is a hash mark (#) followed by a post number at the end of the URL.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"

It is happening the same with me. Also Chrome, but my Windows is the 7. It happens in all foruns and only for threads I have never opened (the other open in the latest read post, as usual).

Oh, and I believe this wasn't happening before.

Not for me. The intro URL for a new thread has a blank target mark, which shouldn't move the page focus at all.

I just checked, if it has a blank target mark (just a # in the end of the url, right?) it leads me to the end of the page. However, if I remove it, it takes me to the beginning normally.

What is introducing that target mark?

What do you mean? When open a new thread the # will be there. If I've never read the thread before, there will be nothing after it and I will be lead to the bottom.

I, too, am getting the "#" on threads I've not read before. Not sure what's causing it, it's just something that happens.

Wulf, that is a thread. Not sure how you are clicking the thread to get to the thread.

Heatth, try it again. There is a code change in.
