Its not really good, just more of Flat "What". I kinda like MAD, but that beside the point.
What really surprised me was the voice cast. George Takei, Jaleel White, and if Wikipedia is to be believed, Mark Hamill and Townsend Coleman, on top of more of the "usual" names like Grey DeLisle, John DiMaggio and Kevin Michael Richardson. Maybe I shouldn't be that surprised, but I wasn't expecting that kind of range on this thing.
Regarding comparing it to stupid stuff on the Internet: I don't routinely watch stupid things on the Internet, certainly not of this caliber. The same goes for my friends. I have been known to waste more time than might be healthy trawling nothing-in-particular, but I try to spend it on something that at least seems like a good idea at the time.
If I saw this as a straight-up online thing, I don't think I would have the patience to sit through an episode even then. The best it could hope for is for its relative highlights to put me in the mood of other, better things I could be watching or reading, without the bizarre, off-putting presentation, at which point I would go do that thing. (Or, given my track record, there's a fair chance I would go off and waste more time on nothing, which would be sad, but the point stands.)

My comparison to Dumb Internet Videos still stands, I think. It's a comparison, not a "justification as to why you should like the show" (there has to be a word for that, I just can't think of it at the moment). Problem Solverz is a show that seems to be geared toward people who like Dumb Internet Videos (however small a crowd that may be). If you don't watch them, this show really isn't meant for you, therefore you probably won't like it. Simple logic.
I'm just using that comparison to point out who the targeted audience is. :)
And yeah, the voice cast caught me off guard, too. I guess with such a rudimentary animation/writing style, they can easily afford bigger names to fill in the crazy cast of characters. Jaleel White as K-999 was my favorite so far. Totally broke his established character traits.
Jaleel when he saw the animation: "That's NO GOOD!"
Jaleel when he saw the check: "That's good!"
More Buscemi at http://forum.reelsociety.com/I think that the Youtube comments for the episode are actually funnier than the episiode itself. One person says "I thought this was the only kind of show that could only be enjoyed if you were stoned out of your mind. I brought over my pothead friend who was high as a kite, and even he said "yeah...this is some shit." LOL
"When lights out/I'm like a gremlin/Feed me hiphop and I start tremblin'"—Eric B. and RakimHeh k-999 was one of my favorite characters, he reminded me of the doll guy from Aqua Teen Hunger Force.
And also, I wasn't a big fan of Alfe, but after the funny faces episode I see heks a Crouching Moron, Hidden Badass.
Let's make a TCG!You know, most of the complaining here is still about the animation...do people REALLY care that much? I love pretty animation, but I'm someone who will watch paper bags with googly eyes on them if it's more amusing than a brick wall. I would probably watch a pool of vomit with silly enough voices dubbed over it.
The characters and dialog on problem solvers have grown on me to the point of active enjoyment. It has a lovable dryness and self aware stupidity.
And yeah, it's canceled as hell.
bogleech.com for my writing, comics and cartoons.
It's likely to not get renewed after all the negative feedback people have given.
Then again, some people almost seem to be realizing that despite how much they criticize the colors and animation, they keep coming back for more. It's either something that grows on you, or something you hate so much that you meet it coming the other way and actually like it.
Or maybe I'm just being foolishly optimistic again. :P
the only reason most people watch this show is Bile Fascination

It's ratings aren't even close to Adventure Time, so it's gone. They put it last in their lineup, which is what they did to Robotomy before it got canceled. (however, they did it to Regular Show too, but for once, CN did something right, moved it to a better time slot and the ratings are now very close to Adventure Time's ratings.)
I'm thinking this show probably should have stayed on You Tube, or at least been a web-only cartoon on CN's site. It would get more attention there than on actual TV.
A Winner is You!
