Not really the same; you know tha t person who is REALLY self gratitaing, smells their own farts and such? That type.
Let's make a TCG!Apparently the whole "getting crap past the radar" is actually the radar asking the creators of Adventure Time, Regular Show and I assume Problem Solverz to put that crap in there to appeal to the Periphery Demographic while being over the heads of the kids, so technically the crap is never getting past any radar. The radars do shoot down anything that's too extremely over-the-top, like using beavers as a nudity censor in Adventure Time (but they were allowed logs), but yeah...this is what one of the people who work for Regular Show told me on Formspring, so I am assuming it applies to other CN shows.
The new show replacing Problem Solverz on Cartoon Network !!!

... You do realize that Problem Solverz isn't gone, right? XD
Long live Cinematech. FC:0259-0435-4987Replaced? Have you guys not noticed the fact that in the last few pages you've been told that that thought is very, VERY stupid?
Let's make a TCG!Totally late into the discussion, but I figured I'd add my two cents on this show, rather than join the 95% who despise its very existence.
Remember that stupid Internet thing your friend showed you two weeks ago? The thing that barfed rainbows into your eyes? Yeah, this show is that same thing, but on TV instead of the Internet. I'm pretty sure CN's current modus operandi for every new show they greenlight is "try something else". Seriously, look at the subtle, yet obvious differences between Chowder, Flapjack, Adventure Time, Regular Show, etc. Each one is something different. Problem Solverz is definitely "something else", and I'm betting Gumball and whatever else is next in line will also be a step in a different direction.
Of course, I'm not saying y'all need to like Problem Solverz, because if you don't, you don't. That's understood. The points I want to make are that A) Problem Solverz is not responsible for the death of whatever show you think it replaced, B) CN is HIGHLY UNLIKELY to start using Problem Solverz as the mold for its new shows, and C) remember that handy device called a remote control? It's for use when you don't like or have a screaming intense desire to not watch a show.
So, point A. CN didn't pick up Problem Solverz just to cut the heavy costs of high-production shows like Sym-Bionic Titan and Robotomy. Those shows weren't even cancelled, as for something to be cancelled, there would have to at least be semi-completed material that was never aired (a la Angry Beavers, Invader Zim) or dropping the show before the contract was fulfilled (Pirates of Dark Water, anyone?). No, SBT and Robotomy filled their respective 20 and 10 episode contracts, and were not renewed for another season (though clearly Genndy Tartakovsky was banking on it for SBT). When they finished out, Problem Solverz was the next cartoon in line to be aired, thus leading to rumors that CN cancelled the shows, lost their minds, etc, etc.
Point B: Problem Solverz is not the new standard. It's a stupid flash cartoon like the one you saw last week on Newgrounds that CN decided to try airing as a cartoon. Clearly it doesn't work as well when not restricted to the Internet, but that's a whole 'nother argument. As I pointed out, with each new cartoon, CN tries something different. Sometimes it works, other times it doesn't. It depends on the audience.
Point C: If you really want to see Problem Solverz dead and gone, change the channel at 8:45 PM every Monday to something that doesn't boil your blood. Numbers matter to CN. The more people tuning in to later rant about how much they despise the show, the higher the shows numbers are, which makes it look successful, nevermind the actual reviews. Bear in mind that it was picked up for 11 episodes, so it will likely continue for another 6 weeks at minimum. Not that you have to be there watching it the whole time...
So yeah, that's my (frankly more than 2) cents. All that said, I somehow find the show entertaining despite the intense criticism. Don't get me wrong, it's definitely nowhere near CN's best, but I do like it (in the way I like watching ran-dumb nonsense flash surrealities, not the way I like watching SBT or the way I fangasm over details about the Thundercats reboot).
And I still think CN's well on the road to recovery as the best place for animation.
Just sayin'.

^ I'd say it's mostly cause randomness for the sake of randomness is kinda bleh. And y'know the art is just very very unpleasant. So no real reason to watch this over shows with better production values. All it really brings to the table is its butt-ugly art because randomness is hardly anything new.
Eh, it has better plotting than most late-season D Cl AU stuff in any case.
I hope to see this picked up again.
Let's make a TCG!I tried watching an episode, but couldn't finish it. Tried it with another episode, and STILL couldn't do it.
Am I the only one who doesn't like the pointless random shows that are plaguing CN and seem to have been made on hard drugs? (The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack, Adventure Time, and...eh, I can't remember the names of the others at the moment.) I will say that I like the Regular Show and Robotomy very much (Possibly because, while surreal, it doesn't become disturbing at any point.)
In any case...yeaaaaah. I hope this gets replaced with something else soon. I think the most significant thing about the series is that Adult Swim rejected it. ADULT SWIM! The thing that aired 'classics' like Perfect Hair Forever, 12 oz. Mouse, and Xavier: Renegade Angel. Really, if Adult Swim won't pick it up, then...yeah.
