Bachelors of Engineering Science. The odd thing is, I majored in a combination program of Engineering Mathematics and Computer Science, yet I've somehow found myself working as a Civil Engineer. (I'm currently licensed in 7 states within the US.)

One could be forgiven for assuming that a website dedicated (at least in theory) to literary analysis would attract several users with English literature degrees.

Now, that's not fair. I know several people whose degrees in (as an example) music evidently made them qualified enough to get their jobs in political lobbying, teaching and journalism.

I'm studying literature + creative writing, if that counts.
Not actually very good at it, but doing my best to learn.

Please spay/neuter your pets. Also, defang your copperheads.I think I get a brain hemorrhage just thinking about trying to major in math. 0_o
As for me, I eventually want to double major in history and teaching, with a minor in sociology.

I did an A-level in media and I would say probably not; we have some - at times rather shallow - coverage of certain concepts from the subject (e.g. Dutch Angle, Fourth Wall, Dolly), but there's a great deal we don't have.
For example, we don't cover semiotics which is fairly important, our audience reaction tropes are very much focused on individuals and lacking in reference to specific studies, and our technical/jargon articles like Chroma Key are solely descriptive and don't tell you how to actually use the techniques. We also use a slightly quirky classification system, for example lumping everything camera related under the banner of Camera Tricks regardless of whether it's a shot, a pan or a visual effect.
Additionally, we mix industry jargon with fanspeak, which could harm your ability to discuss the subject you don't notice the difference, and we have a bad habit of misusing critical terminology at times (Deconstruction springs to mind).

Bobby G, your response to my humorous question will has inspired at least a month or two of reading on my part. Given that I've been searching for a new topic to dig into, I owe you my thanks, and possibly a Nice Hat too boot.
(I'm going to start with digging up some books on semiotics, which seems to be an interesting subject, judging by its entry on Wikipedia).
