I was never exposed to Lola Bunny, could anyone explain the hate?

Well to be fair it is very easy to do so and not everyone is going to respond to everything you say, that's how a lot of these threads work. You have to be insightful or have something interesting to say or it all gets lost in the crowd.

[up][up]You're not the first person to say that. And when told you didn't get any responses because your comment wasn't that interesting, you proper response is not to just repeat it.

Bat, repeating yourself just makes you look stupid to the general reader that might've noticed ed you before and assumed you are a troll or an attention seeker. You don't repeat yourself, you simply allow life to go on without you getting your precious attention or you try again elsewhere or in the same thread with something different or interesting to say. Doing the exact same thing before implies that you are not learning and therefore none too bright. Change tactics.

I don't even know what you're expecting anyone to say.

That assumes we've read it and it's pretentious of you to assume we'd all agree with you or even assume we even had read or seen the same things you do.

Right, if you want to encourage more discussion of it, see if you can find some examples to show.

"Gilagan's Cut" is not a thing. Gilligan Cut is.

I like the new Lola far better. Looney Tunes are supposed to be funny, and if Lola was supposed to be a parody of her archetype, it sure didn't show, she seemed like a straight example. And as for the "comedic" variant, that's just putting her in comedic situations. Looney Tunes doesn't need a Straight Man character because the Straight Man is simply whoever is not currently being funny.

At first I didn't realize I needed all this stuff...

I didn't miss your point, I flat-out stated that I disagreed with it. Is that so hard to understand?

[up][up]We read your reply the first time. Why are you reposting it twice now?

[up] calm down dude, not everyone reads the comics, and the general consensus of Loony Tunes is that they should be funny, not competent. If they are, they tend to become Mary Sues or the like, similar to bugs himself on occasion. If you like comic lola, cool, more power too ya, but stop rubbing it in our faces

<Mod Hat ON>

This is a conversation. Not a war. You've stated your opinion; other posters have disagreed. That happens a lot in life, that people don't agree with you. Let it go.

[up] Point One: The Looney Tunes comics aren't as well spreaded and known as the animated shows. So most people here, I'd bet, hasn't, you know, even have had the chance to read those comics to give their opinion on them.

Point Two: Not to mention, IIRC, Lola debuted rather late in the comic's run and appeared relatively few times there. I love Minerva Mink's augmented role in the Animaniacs comics, but you won't see me parroting the same questions about that over and over, then complaining when people 'ignores me', because, you know, that's a relatively niche, small and rather forgotten segment. Same with Comics Lola. Live with it.
