and this version of the show does have continuity, so one of the earlier statements is moor.
Why? Darkwing Duck had continuity too, yet it contradicted past events as well whenever it worked for a joke. Cartoons of the humor variety have continuity as long as it favors a gag, and drop it as soon as it suits Rule of Funny instead. We aren't talking about Avatar The Last Airbender material here.

Maybe, maybe not. But that isn't what they did. They made Lola into someone interesting instead of taking someone bland and trying to unbland her without letting go of the personality that made her bland in the first place. Stop complaining about what you wanted them to do, they're the creative forces here.

Good God, this is why I hate Space Jam.
For the record, Looney Tunes is a comedic cartoon. It is not a sports movie. The television show is not intended to be a sports drama television show. Space Jam was a divergence from this formula. Looney Tunes fans do not want to return to this divergence.
