Taro nodded, but he was a little angry inside. He didn't want a ghost story- ghosts aren't real! He wanted the truth, not some knock-off that probably wasn't even the slightest bit true. Oh well, I'll just ask Joshua for the real story later on. Surely he doesn't believe in ghosts. With nothing else to talk about- at least nothing that could be spoken of in such a large group of strangers.
Hey! Read my fanfic: Here"Interesting. I got a few nice stories of my own too. Tonight's going to be fun."
Most of the campers seemed awfully quiet. They neither spoke, nor made an effort to socialize. It made for a rather awkward and strange atmosphere.
Bunch of introverts. Tough to get conversation started with these types.
"So councillers, what's the plan for tonight?"
Himiko responded to Yamarai's question first. "Well, after we get you all situated in your cabins, we're going to give you a quick tour of the town, so you all should know your way around. After that, we'll be returning to the camp for dinner around the campfire, which usually includes any degree of idle conversation, storytelling and some music. It's a very pleasant experience."
TVTropes Nuzlocke Thread. - Arceus Help Us All.Yuki looked at the people who are engaged in a conversation right now, and he shrugged a bit. Hm... I don't know if I should join in, but since this place is new to me... I'll try to listen and talk to the others... For now. I need to know more about this town so that I'll adjust myself to this place... Yuki turned off his headphones, and he took them off. Yuki moved up to the group of people that are talking, and he listened to the conversation.
Shutdown sequence initiated.Kate had been eavesdropping on the conversation about the lost person and was mildly disappointed that they weren't going to continue until later. Not that she was surprised that people got lost: it was a forest after all and the same had happened to people in reserves and even some larger parks. The fact that they never found the body was rather odd but also not entirely unexpected.
However, it would be interesting to see how they turned this into a ghost story. With a small smile Kate returned to admiring the local plantlife, only half-interested in the details of the day plan. She'd find them out soon enough.

"You've got your transmission and your live wire, but your circuit's dead." - MediaRelieved as Himiko shrugged off his apology, Logan was content to listen in silence for a while, much more leery of making a faux pas, even if he really hadn't made one earlier. At the mention of ghost tales, however, he couldn't help perking up. "Maybe this would be a better question for when we're touring the town, but speaking of stories, does Hakkoumori have any professional storytellers? Like, a bard or anything?"

We have a guild, more of a coalition, really. Or is it a league? No matter, it's a gathering of people who like to tell stories, true, embellished or downright fictional."
TVTropes Nuzlocke Thread. - Arceus Help Us All."That's brilliant!" the albino beamed, "Groups like that are hard to find anywhere, especially in this day and age. Have you all been doing this for a while now, or is it just a recent thing?"
GM: AGOG S4 & F/WC RP; Co-GM: TABA, SOTR, UUA RP; Sub-GM: TTS RP. I have brought peace, freedom, justice, and security to my new Empire."I've been doing it since I started wandering into the forest when I was a kid."
TVTropes Nuzlocke Thread. - Arceus Help Us All."So, Seto..." Taro started, hoping to get some kind of conversation going, but not knowing what to say. He hoped the other boy would have something to talk about.
Hey! Read my fanfic: Here"So you've been inspired a lot by these woods, huh?" Logan paused half a moment and beamed at the greenery on the side of the path, not realizing or caring that his digits were skimming the shell of another tree. After another beat, he nodded. Yeah, I can see that. Definitely.
He folded back into the flow of the group, keeping pace. "You specialize in any particular kind of tales?"
GM: AGOG S4 & F/WC RP; Co-GM: TABA, SOTR, UUA RP; Sub-GM: TTS RP. I have brought peace, freedom, justice, and security to my new Empire."Well, I do tell many a tale about the fair folk. Usually of the less-than-heroic variety."
TVTropes Nuzlocke Thread. - Arceus Help Us All.Kyouya sighed. "Calm down, kid. The Fae won't likely touch us. We have an agreement of sorts these days. Most of the stories I tell are from a long time ago anyway."
TVTropes Nuzlocke Thread. - Arceus Help Us All.Naoko chimed in. "They're faeries. Faeries from Ireland that came to inhabit our forest when our ancestors came."
TVTropes Nuzlocke Thread. - Arceus Help Us All.The Voice's hysterical laughter over Yuki's sudden panic died down as Logan raised a curious eyebrow in the older girl's direction. "So then, are they trooping, or solitary?"
GM: AGOG S4 & F/WC RP; Co-GM: TABA, SOTR, UUA RP; Sub-GM: TTS RP. I have brought peace, freedom, justice, and security to my new Empire.Yuki's shout had drawn Kate's attention away from the plant-life and back to the conversation.
Fae? She almost stopped short in her tracks. She knew this had the whole Celtic appeal to it (probably a marketing bonus) but they were talking like... they were real.
Kate picked up her pace a little to make eavesdropping easier.
"You've got your transmission and your live wire, but your circuit's dead." - Media"Come on, trying ta scare us with bedtime stories now?" Seto felt like someone had to strike out towards sanity here. Fairies or faeries (he wasn't sure what the difference was, they sounded the same to him) couldn't possibly exist- They'd have been seen or something by now. Plus, why would a summer camp be operated where something so malicious was? That would never pass an inspection, if there really had been disappearances. Probably.
"The Fair Folk? Really?" Taro commented, rolling his eyes. "I mean, they make a good story, but real? Please." I'd find demons more likely, Taro thought, but didn't say much. Coming off as both a skeptic and a believer in demons wasn't really a good combo for a first impression. Or, so he assumed. His knowledge of the ins and outs of social interaction weren't really all that good.
Hey! Read my fanfic: HereMegumi had fallen silent, and Violet was getting the idea that maybe she was pressing her too hard. She murmured an apology, and darted away before she could embarrass herself further.
She listened to the main flow of conversation for a while, but it turned to ghost stories. Violet rolled her eyes. Trying to scare yourself with impossibilities struck her as doubly pointless. She continued to listen half-heartedly in case anything came up - setting up apparent possibilities for others could still be fun, after all - and groped into her bag for the burr pieces she'd dropped earlier.
ERROR: The current state of the world is unacceptable. Save anyway? YES/NO

Joshua hesitated to speak. "Well— OW!" He yelped in response to a flick on the temple from a mischievously grinning Kyouya.
"I'm the storyteller around here alright? As for that story, I think it would be a nice thing to hear at tonight's campfire don't you think so, Flann?"
Flann smiled. "Oooh, that story. I think it's a perfect ghost story to start off their stay."
"Then it's settled! We'll just have to wait until then, huh?"
