Taro took the journal with a sense of accomplishment. "This will prove useful..." He said under his breath, smiling a bit. He then stopped for a moment, realizing that he was about to get a list of disappeared people from Flann. What if he's not... He said, before shaking out the thought. He had to be on there. If he wasn't... Well, he had to be. But he had to be sure, too.
"Well... I had been hoping to grab some recreational reading, too..." Taro commented as he walked back to Seto, "But I took too much time with this. You find anything?"
Hey! Read my fanfic: Here"Certainly, I'll just take these and stamp them." Moira brought Kate's book to her desk to be stamped, and then handed them back to her. "There you go."
"Alright everyone, time to move out!" Himiko said, and lead the group out of the library. She then showed them to the town square, showing off the town's fountain, then to the town hospital. While the were there, they got to meet Quinn's father, the Hospital director. The group were also shown the town hall, and the marketplace, where they could buy any necessities or souvenirs that caught their fancy. Finally, Himiko showed them to the Police Station.
"Now, if you ever get in any trouble, I suggest that you come straight here. I heard from Flann that one of you had business here, so I'll trust you to be able to conduct that on your own, as for the rest of you, let's come back to camp."
TVTropes Nuzlocke Thread. - Arceus Help Us All.Violet was trying really hard not to be distracted by her new acquisitions, but only succeeded in sort of half-paying attention to both them and Himiko without really grasping either. She leant toward the nearest person and whispered - "Sorry, I didn't quite hear - what was that she said about the police station?"

"She said that one of us has some business to attend to at the police station... and that we shoudl go there if there's trouble." She answered with a slight shrug.
... Wait a minute... trouble?
"You've got your transmission and your live wire, but your circuit's dead." - Media"Ah! Thanks very much." ...who could have business with the police?
ERROR: The current state of the world is unacceptable. Save anyway? YES/NO"You're Violet, right?" Kate smiled, kind of hoping to strike up a conversation.
"You've got your transmission and your live wire, but your circuit's dead." - MediaTaro tried his best to stay out of the way during the tour. The town was legitimately interesting, but he was still trying to distract himself from what he would do if... Well, he was doing better than he would have thought. He wished he had had more time to check out books, considering most of it was wasted trying to get this journal which might not help much...
He especially tried to stay out of the way when he was called out for needing to be at the police station. Still, he needed that list... He didn't step up or anything of the kind, but rather he sort of let the group filter out of the police station until he was the only one left.

Hey! Read my fanfic: Here"Weren't you listening?" Logan threw an amused glance at the pair as he held the door. "He's got business here. Don't worry, I'm sure he can find his way back to camp just fine. Right, Taro? Now come on, Namara," he snapped his fingers in mock impatience, "you're burning precious daylight here."

"You've got your transmission and your live wire, but your circuit's dead." - Media"Well, Britain, originally, but I'm studying at Waseda... what brought you to Japan?"
ERROR: The current state of the world is unacceptable. Save anyway? YES/NO"Taking a break from studying, so I decided to come and actually see some of the more exotic species I'm learning about." Kate smiled slightly, "Waseda? That's quite the prestigious university. Why'd you choose to study there? It's a very long way from Britain."
"You've got your transmission and your live wire, but your circuit's dead." - Media"I'm still on the capital island of an ex-naval empire off the coast of Eurasia! I'm probably closer to home than you are right now," Violet retorted teasingly. "No, actually I'm technically still a student at Warwick, abusing their study-abroad program because I really needed some un-before-seen scenery, and Waseda was pretty easy to arrange." She grinned. "Now, stop trying to make this conversation about me! You said you're studying exotic plants - you're going into, what, botany, then? You must be almost out of school, right?"
ERROR: The current state of the world is unacceptable. Save anyway? YES/NO"Ah, I see." Kate chuckled, "I am in my final year of studying botony... well, Natural Sciences, but my favourite subjects are the botany ones so I tend to focus on those. Yep... I'm old."

"You've got your transmission and your live wire, but your circuit's dead." - MediaTaro just looked up, not sure what to say to Seto, trying to formulate a good, somewhat ambiguous answer. This was not the time, nor the place, for such world-breaking revelations as: "I'm looking for my missing brother and parents using probably-not-so-subtle methods as seen out of a detective stories." Not that he said that out loud.
Thankfully, Seto got the picture, and walked off with the group. Suitably alone, he walked up to the front desk, a tad nervous. "Excuse me," He started, "I need to speak to someone about missing people."
Hey! Read my fanfic: HereYuki didn't mind the conversation that was going on, since they are not directed to him or he doesn't care about the many conversations right now. He kept on walking with the group, but he turned on his headphones, and he listened to "There is Life Everywhere"
walking with the line in a brisk manner.
Violet smiled, kind of relieved that Kate had taken that prod so well. "Why botany, then? How'd you get into it?"
ERROR: The current state of the world is unacceptable. Save anyway? YES/NO"I was always something of a science geek in high school - biology being my favourite subject. I just like knowing how living things work - what can ail them, what can fix them. However, human biology, as interesting as it was, just wasn't my forte." Kate grinned a little at the memories, "My brother and I used to have weekend hiking trips to the Blue Hills and I, well, just really like plants. I used to try and categorize as many as possible... especially after an incident with poison ivy. I forget which park that was though. We were very outdoorsy."
Realizing that she was derailing into what would become painful territory if she dwelled on it any further, Kate brought herself back to the present.
"Any way, enough about me. I'm boring." Kate resisted the urge to make a derpy face, "What are you studying?"
"You've got your transmission and your live wire, but your circuit's dead." - Media"Theatre and maths, mostly. As long as I'm in Japan, mostly theatre... when I get back, back to mostly maths." She shrugged.
ERROR: The current state of the world is unacceptable. Save anyway? YES/NOWell... that was an engaging answer.
"So... what do you think about the whole 'people getting lost in the forest' thing?" Kate raised an eyebrow, "It sounds like they're going to spin it into a ghost story."
"You've got your transmission and your live wire, but your circuit's dead." - Media

Kate hurried over to Moira with her books, slightly peeved that she hadn't been noticed but more at herself.
"Excuse me, can I just check out these quickly?" She asked, looking nervously towards the group.
