Anyone know any good Terran strategies to transition into from 3 rax: 2 tech 1 reactor? I have no problems running this, or moving to Medievac + Viking support. But I get to the mid game, I'm ahead, but I'm sitting there and wondering should I change my strategy to prevent my opponent adapting to my play, or just throw down more rax and spam more bio for a Marine-Marauder tsunami.
Standard Orb Comm opening, then 2nd Rax at 18 + tech lab @ 100%, 3rd rax at 20ish, with a Reactor on the 1st Rax when the 3rd completes. When the Reactor is complete I put a techlab on the 3rd Rax.
And usually this against an opponent on 1-2 bases, I try to expand at 40 supply and again at 60ish.
I assume this is against Protoss. Also, I'm not a Terran player so I might not be giving the correct advice but I'll tell you what I'd do.
After you have your rax setup, try to get up your starports quickly. Scout if he's going colossi or templar. Templar, you'd probably only need one reactor starport pumping medivacs, along with a ghost academy for EMP. Against colossi, the ghosts won't be as important so you can skip that until later and just get double reactor starport pumping viking/medivac. Don't be scared of overproducing vikings. You can just land them.
For both, you should be getting more barracks, though I don't know the exact number (since I'm not a Terran player). I'd imagine around 2 more barracks with whichever addons you prefer. Eventually, if you went double starport, you'll want to incorporate ghosts too just because they're so good anyway. Expand while attacking and you should be good to go.
Can't say I find that particularly entertaining.

Far more entertaining.

this is quite entertaining.
so..
this was posted already...the cinematic trailer, but I was wondering...is there a name to the song playing during it, and is it part of a soundtrack or something?
Alright necro time. You know what really annoys me...
How 40k fans keep insisting that Starcraft was originally a licensed game for 40k that had its license pulled when Blizzard started screwing around with the 40k 'verse. I looked around the Internet, and couldn't find any sources for that besides fanboys screaming about how retarded and unoriginal Starcraft is.
This is a signature. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

Warp Prisms and Medivacs function differently to Overlords.
Zerg units, being massed generally, tend not to work so well in smaller groups. Since you have a lot of overlords for lots of drops, bang, that's how you use them. Warp prisms, you'll usually only have one harassing and warping in. Medivacs, you need to heal your marinemarauder anyway so while you don't mass drop that often, you CAN drop almost anytime.
Most maps don't have islands. Also, lower level players will find it difficult to load up all the units into the overlords. Loading 5-10 overlords is harder and more annoying than loading 2 medivacs.
