>More water spikes
Drew pulls up a dozen balls of water, shaping and cooling them into long, pointed blades before hurling them at the creature.
Very big Daydream Believer. "That's not knowledge, that's a crapshoot!" -Al Murray "Welcome to QI" -Stephen FryJason, noticing Grimdad's rapid descent towards Taso's bed of spikes, decides to let the creature in order to assist Grimdad. Using a wire hidden within his gauntlets, Jason is able to snag Grimdad and safely pull Grimdad to safety.
Meanwhile, without Jason's gusts to keep it airborne, the creature falls onto the platform. For a moment, the creature is unable to do anything but flop about until suddenly, its fins recede into its body before they're replaced with a large pair of crab claws and legs that emerge along the side of the creature's body.
Drew decides to draw water from the sea in order to create several spikes of solid ice to launch at the creature. While the creature is able to block most of the spikes using its claws, Drew does succeed in hitting the creature along the sides of its body and one of its eyes. However, in spite of the damage, the assault appears to have no effect and the creature continues to close in.
Meanwhile, Grimdad safely lands (in style) and prepares for his next assault. After thanking Jason for his assistance, he quickly jumps into the air and lands in front of the creature, staring it down and preparing himself for the creature's next move.

"Come get me you beast!"
Taso thumbs the on botton and manipulates the controls to start his Power Drill spinning at moderate speed, ready to shove it into the creature when it gets close, turning up the torc of the drill as he lunges.
If you don't know what torc is, its sort of the weight behind the drill spinning. A drill can move very fast but Torc lets it move harder, like throwing your body weight into a punch or kick.

>Looks for an opening
His mind exhausted from shifting and cooling such large quantities of water, Drew looks for an opening in the creature's defenses. Perhaps he could strike a vital organ quickly and retreat before it could counter...
Very big Daydream Believer. "That's not knowledge, that's a crapshoot!" -Al Murray "Welcome to QI" -Stephen FryTaso decides to help Grimdad out with the guardian so he bravely steps forward, drill in hand (and spinning), as he awaits the creature's next move.
Meanwhile, Drew (due to exhaustion) decides to hang back to observe the creature and look for an opening in which he could deal a critical blow.
For a tense moment, both sides refuse to move, waiting for the prime moment to strike. Then, without warning, the creature tries to bring its claws down on top of the duo, hoping to crush them before they have a chance to react.

Drew quickly leaps out of the way, hoping he doesn't get crushed under the massive claw.

Taso tries swinging his weapon up so that it meets the creature as it lands. As he does this, if he has time, he brings a smoooth pyramid cone up to hold the weapon up as well, enveloping some of its backside.
I use smooth in the relative sense, as in its not jagged and you could probably run your hand accross it lightly but rubbing it would give you a scrape.

Grimdad jumps to the call and sweeps his bedrock blade upwards in an effort to cut through the claw before it makes contact. Not only does the blade cut through the creature's claw, it able to vertically bisect the creature's entire arm.
While Drew reflexively backs away from the creature's assault, Jason throws both of his shurikens, aiming for the creature's other claw as well as the legs along the right side of its body. While Jason only succeeds in grazing the creature's claw, he does manage to slice through all four legs along the right side, causing the creature to topple over.
Before it lands, Taso quickly builds a smooth pyramid that envelops his portable drill so that it's braced for impact. With the structure built, Taso watches as the creature helplessly falls on top on his drill.
For the next three minutes, the creature bellows an inhuman scream as the drill sears through the side of its body. You're unable to see the carnage for yourself (since the drill is hidden beneath the creature's massive body) but from the screams of pain and the blood that comes from the creature's orifices, you can only assume that it's incredibly horrific as well as painful. The creature begins to spasm for a few moments before it finally goes still.
It looks as if the guardian has finally been defeated.

Drew, wary due to the last fight, stabs the creature in the face, trying to penetrate the brain, to make sure it stays dead.
Very big Daydream Believer. "That's not knowledge, that's a crapshoot!" -Al Murray "Welcome to QI" -Stephen FryJason and Grimdad take time to congratulate Taso on killing the creature while Drew takes time to check the body. While it looks dead, Drew doesn't take any chances and decides to "double tap" by stabbing the deceased in the face, just to make sure its really dead.
While Drew stabs the creature in the face, the creature's midsection suddenly explodes, spraying bits of blood and guts onto the platform and anyone who's close enough to the body.
It appears as if something glowing is within the creature's midsection.

GRIMDAD EXASPERATEDLY TURNS AND SENDS A BURST OF MACHINEGUN FIRE AT THE LIGHT JUST TO BE SURE.
Grimdad, just to be sure, open fires on the source of the glow. However upon contact, his ammo bounces harmlessly off a barrier that causes them to ricochet off of it.
Upon further inspection, the barrier is similar to the barriers seen in the inner sanctum.

"Shit!" Drew rushes to help pull the carcass of the monster off of Taso. "NOT. AGAIN!"
Very big Daydream Believer. "That's not knowledge, that's a crapshoot!" -Al Murray "Welcome to QI" -Stephen FryJason inspects the carcass of the creature to find two items.
The first thing he notices is the source of the glow which reveals itself to be a small jewel that lies amidst the remains of the creature's stomach. The second thing he notices a pair of iron claws. Jason thinks that later he might be able to attach the claws to his wire mechanism hidden in his sleeve.
While Jason helps himself to the spoils, Drew checks to make sure that everyone is alright. It is at that moment that Drew realizes that Taso is missing from the group and quickly tells everyone of his disappearance.
Jason, fearing that Taso is underneath the carcass, quickly lifts it up using his wind powers. Upon lifting it, blood, guts, and various body parts litter the ground as it's raised higher into the ground. Save for Taso's drill which is still activated, they don't find Taso anywhere amongst the wreckage.
While Jason and Drew try to find him, Taso suddenly appears from beneath the platform. Save for some guts which cling to his body and helmet, he's relatively unharmed and nonchalantly reclaims his drill from the wreckage while asking the group "what's going on?".
Seconds later, a black mist suddenly appears from the platform and envelops the creature's carcass, leaving nothing behind but a large bloody stain.
Shortly afterward, a white portal appears in the center of the platform.

>Let go, Save Grimdad
"Crap!" Jason shouted, untrapping the creature. Flinging his arm out, a wire shoots out from his gauntlet, wrapping around Grimdad. With a hard pull, Jason yanks Grimdad away from falling onto the spikes, falling down in the process.
