Like Sliders, but not.

Welcome to the world of dreams, of fantasy, of joy, of creativity. A world where everyone has a talent, maybe two, maybe more, but we're all part of a greater community, while nothing is perfect, everything is... at peace.

And then it all goes to hell.

Edward Gorey is traveling the multiverse and conquering entire worlds, and our world of Enterra is no different. we have fallen, we have lost the battle, and our world is broken and gray.

But there is hope. Professor Ahrnold Awestrien was completing a machine, The Dolphin, a ship that was capable of sliding through the fifth dimension into other universes and emerge into others. Two years after Gorey's invasion and conquest, The Dolphin is complete and perhaps we can stop Edward Gorey once and for all. If you can find him, or any part of his empire.

The story begins with the Professor shooting you into the fifth Dimension while he holds back the enemy forces with his powers of magnetism. First objective, find his research-bot Hermes. Second Objective, Survive. Third Objective, Save the multiverse, stop Edward Gorey if possible. Good Luck, the multi-verse is counting on you.

Name:

Age:

Appearance:

Personality:

History: You can make virtually whatever you want, the world we live in is a quasi-utopia where people are born with a talent(s) and your interests and skills are encouraged. The world is like our earth, slightly happier. Not that it'll matter too much in the multiverse but having a history helps build character.

"Talent(s)": basically mundane or supernatural skill. This can range from being especially talents with music to be ability to spawn claws from your back from being a fantastic historian to being capable of turning a single hair on your head into a multi-use tool. Be imaginative, be creative, but for the love of God, don't over do it. Reality warping or anything close is a no no. Humans aren't that spectacular.

Weapon(s): You may already have one or pick one up during our journeys. Trust me, there'll be plenty of crud to find over the multiverse.

Things to keep in mind: I control the enemies and NP Cs and effectiveness attacks, etc, etc. The laws of physics are subject to Change. If you see a blue police box flying around, do not be alarmed.

Try to keep PC count to a maximum of 2. Trying to keep from talking to ourselves here.

Name: Himalton Harrison

Age: 15

Appearance

Personality: Musically inclined cool guy He likes Elvis Presley, old stuff, and music. he is a relaxed person who is level-headed and difficult to scare. or rather, he can get scared or angry or things like that but he hides it very well. Hamilton is a charismatic guy and a lot of ladies like him, though he's usually not interested. The guy is usually making a new song or

History: A long-time Elvis fan who went to school with a small gaggle of friends, one of whom he was deeply in love with but she would never reciprocate. They were separated during the invasion while he was in music class and while he escaped, he assumed his friends are being used as slaves elsewhere to build mysterious factories. Himalton was a rising star in music and was even forming a band. He was raised only by his equally relaxed father who was a history teacher.

"Talent(s)": Musical proficiency and he has this long hair in the back of his head he can extend, shrink, and contort into various shapes. It can't be "Destroyed" per say but it isn't very strong.

Weapon: His trademark "H" shaped guitar that he had reinforced with titanium-steel alloy so he could use it as a blunt force weapon courtesy of the Professor after Gorey's conquest.

Bump....

My God, is nobody interested in anything unless it's one of your stupid multi-fandom crossover messes?

I have to agree with Mousa. There is too many multy-fandom games. And discription almost always read: "Hello, I didn't figured the plot yet, but I am thinking to start another crossover game. I have great idea: we'll use the characters from *** in *** setting. Oh, and I never being GM before (read: be happy to drop my duty to the first unlucky fella)."

Sorry for the runt, I wanted to say this for long.

[up]Hey, there are a few gems in the Crossover RPG genre. Like the MMFRPG and AGOG.

I played a lot of them already.

[down] The situation with Bob And George and SpriteComics. Same things here.

P.S.: Sorry for flooding.

I get the message you're trying to get across. You're basically saying that "unskilled Mega Crossover RPGs don't get much respect".

Dude, it's not like you're the only one who has failed roleplays. It took me three tries to finally make a successful RP.

I know, I just have a general dislike for multi-fandom whatever crossovers. I've had R Ps fail before, that's not the issue, it's the alternatives that seem to get popular are.

Generalizations are bad. Fact is, RPing quality =/= genre of said RP.

And I know that I might not be one to talk.

The thing is that being a Massive Multiplayer Crossover isn't a guarantee of success (Case in point: This RPG died in just over a month), nor is not being on a guarantee of failure.

Thousand Floors had a pretty good plot, pretty solid characters, and pretty good RPers (Zudak and Firock spring to mind). That didn't stop it from dying, did it?

Can I be a robot? Used to be human but transfered him/herself to a machine.

I don't know what to think about crossovers, never played any. But, I prefer made up ones like this compared to stuff in an already established canon.

How epic is this gonna get? Are we gonna fight world, heck even universe destroying abominations or gods after a few years to the point we might as well be gods ourselves?tongue Or is this gonna be a rather down-to-earthly power level thing?

More down to Earth, this is essentially a ragtag group of freedom fighters hopelessly lost across a nigh-endless multiverse fighting a threat so big, that it has to be small. Trust me, it makes sense in context.

And sure, you can be a robot, that is hardly an issue.

I made this character for another FRPG, but now I think it'll suit here better.

Name:ARMS

Age (actual): 12.

Appearance: Looks like a man in his thirties. He is tall, has brown eyes and blond hairs. No moustache or beard.

Personality: Calm and collected in normal situations, he becames hotblooded and flirty in hyper mode.

History: ARMS stands for Army Robotic Medicine System. He is android made for Combat Medic duties. He was trained in various ranged weapons, but when he was 5, he was upgraded with bow made especially to suit his "talents" (more below). Years in war conflicts led ARMS to hate war. He also started to think that androids are superior of humans.

"Talent(s)": Ability to product various medicines or poisons from his body. Poison in normal mode, medicine in hyper mode. Immune to poisons himself.

Weapon(s): A bow specially made in a lab to work better with his poison talent.
