Also if you attempt to execute a nob just as it is coming out of stun it might counter execute you anyways.
Apocalypse: Dirge Of Swans. It took me a while, but I did manage to beat it in Hard. Main problem was the Shootas destroying my shield from above, so I spent most of the time under the archways on the sides. Also there was a LOT of "tactical circumambulation" (ie, run around a lot in circles, herding orks and picking them off a few at a time). It usually goes something like Slash, slash, slash, stomp, shoot whoever is NOT stunned, finish stunned orks, run away and repeat.
I did manage to end up with only the two Nobz but attacking one meant the other would rape me while I was busy finishing off his mate, so Fury it was. For a single Nob, I charge/shoulder block them, then slash slash stun them until I can execute them. If they recover, Tactical Roll is the only way to survive.
The Charge/Should block is a great way to escape a melee AND kill some guys at the same time, by the way. Better than a dodge roll if you ask me, and with a bit of practice you need very little room to engage it (pretty much a single step and you can whack something).
If somebody managed to do both Nobz without using Fury in Hard mode, I'd love to know how :)
What is this I don't even@Young Machete: Don't forget that executing a Nob has the positive effect of stunning nearby boyz. And it gives a full heal.

"And as long as a sack of shit is not a good thing to be, chivalry will never die."GW sold out the day they floated their stock on the market (or whatever you call it). Before that they were just money grubbing bastards like any self respecting Dwarf, but now the problem is that they might care more about pleasing the investors than the gamers. Thankfully, there is a world of better miniatures and games out there. At least, thanks to Relic, we are finally getting amazing computer games using the license. Took them long enough T_T
What is this I don't evenI'm pretty sure if that happened GW representatives would start bringing in caged live tigers to investment meetings. And whenever Canon Discontinuity was mentioned they'd jingle the keys a bit.
They really consider some stuff they made pure Old Shame.
You are not alone.I just want Noise Marines to use weapons they could potentially shred with again.
Also sexy Daemonettes.
Hail Slaanesh!
You are not alone. And what I really want is to see the orks as they were in Epic, with all the crazy guns, and let's not even mention the Kustom ones, lol :) I wanna play a game based on the life of Ghazghkull Mag Uruk Thraka where you start with him as a simple Boy and it finishes with him leading the assault on Armaggeddon (then fade to white as he rushes Komissar Yarrick or something, coz the rest is history) :D
What is this I don't evenIt'd be great if a game had the Orks wheel about and gobble up the force that was intending to use them as a catspaw. Like, you'd arrive and find the scattered corpses of Chaos Marines or an Inquisitorial retinue and think, "Huh. There was some kind of nefarious plot going on here, at one point. I guess that problem took care of itself!"
Just to keep from cheating the player, you could later fight the forces that are arriving to reinforce them, but it would remain the Orks' show. Then you get bogged down and it looks like all is lost until the Imperial Guard comes smashing down to lend you support! (I don't like what often happens to them, either.)
The Imperial Guard is badass, and I hope there's a part where they get to be the Big Damn Heroes in this game. At least long enough to let you save the day.
"The fact that your food can be made into makeshift bombs alarms the Hell out of me, Scrye." - CharlatanWell the fact they were able to actually bring the lift to you (and fight along side you when they show up...I think) speaks volumes already.
I expected them to be dead and we would have had to call the lift ourselves.
Even one of the space marines mentions how the IG did good holding off the Orks by preventing them from downright swarming their asses, but obviously would die without support.
In short, so far so good in the "Not completely a Red Shirt Army department"

For me they actually manage to reverse the execute and nearly curbstomp me when I go after them stunned. Which isn't something you repeat much, but I've tried two or three times.
Nous restons ici.
