"Well, bad people are bad," Sarah simplified it immensely. "So they deserve to be punished, 'cause they do bad stuff."
She looked up at boy, smiling. "The way I see it, defense attornies should only win if the person is really innocent, and prosecuters should win if the person's guilty. It doesn't always work like that, but it's a nice thought!"
Toshiro's x-ray vision would detect the fairly standard things to be expected on a girl, as well as a steam-powered revolver hidden in the folds of Sarah's dress, and a fancy pocketwatch.

"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up.""Brother, please don't oogle her. In all likelihood, she's our cousin, and we aren't in back country West Virginia." he said. It sounded like a joke to everyone else, but to the one with the X-ray vision, it sounded like Miles suspected something.
"And, that is exactly how it is supposed to work... problem is, I can't be certain who did it and who didn't, which is actually the point of the courts, come to think of it."

It's kind of funny. Sufficiently advanced stupidity is like sufficiently advanced science; eventually, you find something you can't solve."Everyone seems to keep talking about him again and again," she thought, "Probably because he became a prosecutor at such a young age. When did he went into college?"
Alexia didn't saw Sarah exiting the bathroom, so she didn't notice anything out of the norm, "Hi, I'm Alexia. So you're another cousin, right? You look awfully young, if you don't mind me saying that."
She also didn't see Tashi looking at her for a few more seconds than usual.

"Hmm? Well, I guess that is kind of how court works..." Sarah replied, stretching. "I don't know too much about courts, though, aside from some of the basic stuff."
Spotting Alexia, she turned to her with a happy smile. Her cheerfulness was practically infectious.
"Well, I am pretty young, so it's only natural for me to look young," she replied.
"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up.""Well, the only reason I commented on your age because you look young compare to us. Most of us are legally adults...except Miles at least, which is ironic, considering his occupation."
Alexia sipped on her second glass of wine, since she was sure Nathaniel was just not being careful. Nathaniel...
"Hey, your last name is Lewis, correct? Is Nathaniel your brother?"
"Now then.."
Clare had picked out a quiet spot at the dining area, by the side where few people are. She prefers the silence. It helps with her intense concentration. Sitting across from her daughter, on this lovely curly seat, Clare does not say a word for the first moments, as she leaves through the menu — to let the calming silence fill Chris for what she has to say.
Golden sunlight blooms through the windows at this altitude; it is late afternoon, and the cluffs of clouds in all multi-hued glory brush by the sight.
"You want tea?" Clare gests. "No?"
Down to business.
"I am not going to put a guilt trip on you, as most other parents would have it. No— I just want you to have a listen. I was a girl once. You like to yearn for independence, to chase the excitement wherever it may lie. All while avoiding even a simple chat with Alexis. I can understand. One day, once you head off to the world as adult— I'll cheer you on all the way.
"First though.." Clare taps at her head. "You need to use this. Wisely. So you won't fall prematurely to stupidity, like you've done scrunching yourself up in compartments. The attendants don't provide quality service up there, as far as I know. I hear many stowaways have died of asphyxiation this way— they don't get much air in the hours of flight. I don't want you to join that statistic.
"You might think — 'he who hesitates is lost.' But I say, 'look before you leap.' A second thought doesn't hurt. So you don't wind up in a big mess in the end. Capiche, Chris?"
She begins to smile, as she offers her daughter the menu. "Want to order a snack?"
(OOC: I will try to post more often. I'm sort of glad my character's an introvert, so I don't leave people hanging in my absence — I want Clare to play a big role in this drama. Though she hasn't talked much with the others yet. Even as I struggle with my sleepiness.. *yawn!*)

Chris tried to convince herself that she could always live off peach rings for another day or two, but her stomach growled threateningly and held her where she sat.
"Well...A hot-dog would be nice...And some fries...maybe two hot-dogs. And a strawberry milkshake. And a side of—actually, just make it three hot-dogs, everything on them and fries with all of them."
When she finished dictating her order to their waiter, she folded her menu with an impassive expression and an air of 'Yes, just a little something to tide me over until supper would be splendid.'
"Ooh là là, you must be hungry!" Clare says. She reaches for her wallet, then fingers through the paper bills left in reserve. Around $250 — which might seem boastful to you unless you realize Clare considers this her emergency travelling funds.
She pulls out the $50 bill, then calls up a waiter.
"'Scuse me," she goes, "She'd like a—" and Clare notions for Chris to repeat her order.
"Yesh, Madam." Haji says.
Haji has a Verbal Tic as well.

"And yes, I am still going to school," she added, her cheer returning. "Sanford's academy, actually."
Well, that's where her brother had gone.
"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up.""So is Sandford's Academy a private school? I hope my sister doesn't mind me saying this, but she went to one for a little while...until she pulled off a certain scheme that got her kicked out. I myself went to a public school, but I keep skipping class so much that I required a private tutor. We were both troublemakers, although I mellowed out a little over the years."
"Yeah. It is." However, that was not the case when she was at school. In fact, one of the reasons why she kept skipping classes was to avoid people...she was a little intoverted back then.
Alexia stood up, "I'm going to look around a little bit," she exited the cafe place, heading towards the viewing area.
The Zeppelin eclipses the sun over the deep blue ocean, it seems to go on for miles and the mainland is far out of sight. Seagulls which treat the zeppelin as a floating island, fly around the behemoth of the sky. It soars over the ocean floating at least 300 feet from the waters surface. Anyone looking deep into the ocean could see fish and all sorts of other creatures swimming just below the surface with a set of binoculars.
Rarely active, try DA/Tumblr Avatar by pippanaffie.deviantart.com"Wow!" Alexia exclaimed as she looked down at the ocean. It was like a shimmering sheet of blue glass. Seagulls were following the ship like it was a huge moving cliff. A nest was in sight, perched by one of the windows. Although some large companies had started sending people across the ocean with airplanes, only a zeppelin could let her have a sight like the one she was seeing.
"What do you think?" Alexia asked Sarah.
"Wow!" Sarah exclaimed, as she looked out at the shifting tides beneath. She peered down, wonder marking her face. She'd never seen anything like this. The gulls trailing the zeppelin, the massive shifting blue beneath, it was all a world of sheer beauty that she'd never thought of before.
"It's amazing! I've never seen anything like it..." she squinted, trying to see a dark shape beneath the water better. "Are there binoculars around here? I want to get a closer look!"

"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up."Alexia thought for a moment and said, "I think I left my pair of binoculars in my cabin. I'll go back to get them."
She walked away again. If she recalled, it was in the brown luggage bag...or was it the green one? She definately had some, so if they weren't there...
Sarah eagerly awaited Alexia's return. She couldn't wait to see what was down there. A whale, maybe? It had to be something interesting...
She idly twirled her parasol and smiled. It was almost as fun imagining it as actually seeing it.
"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up."

Miles chuckled, bowing. "I am indeed... you know, I'm getting a warmer reception than I normally do... some people are extremely hostile towards us. As if it's our fault those people do those things! They earn their punishment, we just prove it."
It's kind of funny. Sufficiently advanced stupidity is like sufficiently advanced science; eventually, you find something you can't solve.
