"I've killed people... I did it in self defense, but... You never forget their faces... the look as their life leaves their eyes... The sound of their body hitting the ground... and worst... the looks from the people around you...wondering if they'll be next... If you've acquired a taste for killing... or if you don't want any witnesses..."
It's kind of funny. Sufficiently advanced stupidity is like sufficiently advanced science; eventually, you find something you can't solve."You should sit down brother your heart is racing far above what a human heart should like that of a man in a caged fight. Please leave my younger brother alone for now. He owes us no explanation." Tashiro says leaning against the door frame.
Yes, he is using his x-ray vision.

Rarely active, try DA/Tumblr Avatar by pippanaffie.deviantart.comAlexia backed away. She was creeped out now.
"W-what are you saying!" she asked, panicing now, "What's with you all of the sudden? D-d-don't-"
She reached her left hand behind her back, where she hidden her knife. She picked it from out of the pocket, and snuck it to her side. Miles was blubbering like an insane killer. If he lunged at her, she would have no choice but to stab him in self-defense. She didn't want to be a murderer, but if she died, the rest of her family would be in trouble.
OOC: You guys are planning this...you're keeping me on!
Fortunately, I can only fall asleep after midnight. Don't ask.

Lucia's eyes darted back and forth between Tashiro, Alexia, and Miles. Her breathing started to speed up. Someone sane needs to step in...now!
"Um, b-brother?" She put a hand on Miles' arm, laughing nervously. "W-why don't we go upstairs and p-pick our rooms?"
Witty repartée is not my forte. Pronunciation and grammar are.Chris repositioned herself behind Alexia and reached out in what hopefully looked like a comforting gesture but was in fact a slow grab at Alex's knife-wielding wrist. "Alex..." she said, perhaps soothingly, perhaps warningly.
OOC: I'll be gone 'till morning in three minutes if nobody's said anything by then.

Daniel sighed. "People..." He said, his voice still not rising above the calm pitch it usually resided in. "Let's calm down here." He said, holding out a palm in a way he was fairly sure would signify down-calming of some sort or another. "No need to blow a gasket, right?" Of course, just beneath his calm expression, there were several gaskets that were just waiting to blow, or at least processes that would equal to gasket-blowing in result.
Liveblog | DeadblogAlex backed away to the hallway, looking down.
"All right," she slipped the knife back into its pocket, "It was just in case. With him blabbering like that, after giving us a scare with a blank bullet, I had to be careful." she looked at Christina. "You know the reason."
With that, she slipped by Christina, and silently walked to the stairway.
"'Blabbering?'" asked Miles in a curious voice. "'Blabbering,' you say?" he asked chuckling.
"'Blabbering'?!" he repeated, a cold fury in his voice. "My first case, I had to shoot the defendant to keep her from killing me with a meat cleaver, and I had to do it in front of her two children!... I had to watch her body hit the ground with a thump muffled slightly by the carpeting, and listen as they screamed, trying to revive their mother with their tears! I have to relive that memory every night, wondering if I could have stopped her somehow!..." His voice was deathly quiet. "When you've lived through doing that, not once... but twice,... and had their relatives so callously saying they'd always known she was off her rocker... telling you you did what you had to... Then... Then, you can talk to me about blabbering."

It's kind of funny. Sufficiently advanced stupidity is like sufficiently advanced science; eventually, you find something you can't solve.Picking up her bags, Clare strides after her daughter - who storms down the hallway in some fit. "Alexia? Alexia!" she calls out, and she catches up to her without breaking a sweat.
"The world can be very cruel.. and people like Miles arise because of it. But whether you let it get to you would decide if you'd still see the better parts or not. Come now, let's cheer up. There's still good things out there."

"You couldn't even defend yourself without a hunk of metal protecting you from a women no less. Brother that is a bit pathetic." Tashiro says shaking his head.

Rarely active, try DA/Tumblr Avatar by pippanaffie.deviantart.comAlexia lashed around towards her mother.
"But Mom!" she said, pointing towards where Miles was, "He's either a lunatic...or a murderer! I don't want to sleep in the same house as a cold-blooded murderer!" Tiny droplets of spit was coming from her mouth, and her right foot was shaking. She was using her cool.
OOC: Wait, which floor is Miles on?
(OOC: I thought you mentioned we're up on the 2nd floor?)
Clare gives it a thought. "Some people can seem frightening, but that's because you're afraid of all the myriad ways of what they can do if you're not careful. Maybe you can try understanding them better, get to know them. Even if it seems hard. I will be there if anything, or anyone wants to hurt you. That is a promise."
Alexia cleanced her right fist, trying to channel her frustration from the rest of her body. She calmed down slightly, but her body was still shaking, and her eyes were narrowed.
She walked to the door of her bedroom, and she twisted the doorknob, "This was suppose to be a nice vacation," she said. She opened the door and went through it, going into the darkened room, "Not an opportunity to cause a breach between our reletives."
OOC: Does Alexia knows about her mom's past as a spy?
"And what would you know of it? I had a split second to make the decision!" Miles pushed Tashi against a wall, holding him by the collar. "Tell me this? Would you rather I'd died, brother? Would you rather I'd hesitated and become that woman's second murder victim? Tell me that." he said, releasing his collar. "Would you rather your own brother have been killed? Can you really be harsh... that stupid?" he said, turning and walking a few steps away. "I am sick and tired of your snide contempt. I am a successfull prosecuting attorney. What are you, brother?" he asked, his back still to Tashi. "You're a mere docks worker. A hired hand. Nothing more."
It's kind of funny. Sufficiently advanced stupidity is like sufficiently advanced science; eventually, you find something you can't solve."Miley, brother." Daniel said, he was starting to realize his ability to influence this conversation was lacking. "I understand you're upset about this, but" he shrugged. "you're being kind of an ass about this whole thing and... it doesn't fit you." He needed a smoke, but stuffing at this point wasn't an option, given how easily people got physical in this family.
Liveblog | Deadblog"I'm being an ass? What about Tashi, accusing me of being pathetic for defending myself? Or Alexia, ignoring everything I've said, except the parts that paint me as a murderer? You know what... None of you could possibly understand... You don't have to dream about it every night... Don't have to relive those moments... Don't have to live knowing you've taken a life... innocent or not..." He glared at the girl pinning him against the wall. "Take. Your hands. Off me." he growled.

It's kind of funny. Sufficiently advanced stupidity is like sufficiently advanced science; eventually, you find something you can't solve.(OOC: I think Clare gives out faint hints of her history. It's nothing she boasts about.)
She flicks on the light switch.
It's certainly no hotel royale with the modest rug and the worn, dusty bookcase, but what catches her eye is the four-poster bed just right at the corner of the room — bedstand and lamp included. Clare drops her bags and does a quick surveying over the cabinet, closet and the full-body mirror right by the door. (She looks good.)
Her immediate pleasure, much to her chagrin, slips down the drain when she realizes she's easily overhearing every word of the heated argument down below.

Alexia saw her mother examining herself when she heard a muffled noise from downstairs, besides the arguing, that sounded like something being slammed against the wall.
"...What was that?" Alexia said meekly She feared that things got physical. She ran out the door, leaving her mother in her room.
OOC: Things are going to get bloody. I bet Vyctorian wanted this to happen.

"Life's what you make of it, brother." Daniel shrugged. "Excuse me." He said as he turned and walked back to the house, stuffing his pipe on the way. He was getting involved in drama, and that was getting dangerously close to putting a crack in his wholesome image. A crack wasn't bad, but structural weakness was not something he was going to gamble with.
