This editor was reported in Ask The Tropers on Thursday and I sent a pm outlining the problems with his edits and suggesting the appropriate threads for help. He has continued to make the same type of edit and I have edit banned him.

Need help cleaning up. They go all the way back to the 11th.

I saw that, I started at the top but the pages keep dying when I use the search function in Google Chrome so it's slow going.

I think I got most of it. I'm about to crash and I no longer trust myself with proper spelling and grammar for the moment.  *

Pinning. We need cleanup help more often than I'd like. Or should this go to Special Efforts?

I think this is more special efforts. These clean ups aren't hard to do, they're just tedious and that's where things like the Natter and Grammar clean up threads for individual pages are.

You need to give us a page, not a forum thread. We can clean those up as we come across them, but otherwise it's just going to be sporadic without a given target.

That's what makes this cleanup so frustrating. It's not something that's easily google-searched.

Well, then we'll go about our normal editing and fix it when we see it. If you find a page you need help with, bring it here.

The Venture Brothers needs some love and care. I've reduced a lot of the thread style editing, but I can't stand to look at it any more. There are a few things I don't know how to fix as well: -There are many redundancies between Captain Ersatz and Alternate Company Equivalent. I don't understand the nuance of these two tropes, so I don't know how this should be resolved. -Could someone else could look at the examples recommended to move to YMMV and decide if they're in-universe or if they should be moved? -Shout-Out is turning into a cancerous growth, but it's hardly the only example. TIA!

This person made a series of edits that all seem to include one spelling error. Could we have a little help cleaning it up? [1]

I think I got all the typos, but someone should look over all the crowner pages. Most all of them are created by that one user, and kind of just seem like them gushing about stuff they like. List here.

The God Of Cookery page looks all wrong (to me). Every example is listed along the lines of:

  • Trope (Description of trope)

Note the lack of a full stop, as the most recent editor has gone through and deleted most if not all of them.

I've never seen this formatting standard. Should the parentheses be removed and a colon be added after the trope name? If nothing else, can I go back in and dump punctuation all over it?
