I know this might cause Hype Aversion, but I recommend watching the movie. It has a very cool/clever action scenes, superb acting from Heath Ledger, and it is quite philosophical, exploring how people acts in the face of madness, morality, and wrongness of justification for sacrificing few to save lot and such....
Oh, and is there anything like a color dictionary? Sometimes I watch the sky and it looks so beautiful, but don't know how to describe it because I don't know what color they are supposed to be.
Continuously reading, studying, and (hopefully) growing. You could try looking at paint colour charts. Wikipedia also does pages for different colours, and presumably has indexes of them. Or you could just try getting creative with similes.
Scepticism and doubt lead to study and investigation, and investigation is the beginning of wisdom. - Clarence DarrowOK you guys know I'm kind of obsessed with the Five-Man Band. But I don't like just calling the new guy 6th ranger. How is this for this fandom ones.
Kim Possible
- The Hero Kim
- The Lancer Shego, might also be Team Mom
- The Big Guy Ron

- The Chick Monique
- Team Pet Rufus
- umm...Ninja?: Yori
Also I don't know what to make Dixie Kong. In a different story.

With the power of a dragon I can make up for my inability to spill.Maybe a mouse. It might make it ironic that the vampire eats rodents mainly.
Color dictionary. @_@' I think there are some actual color dictionaries, but color seems to be mildly subjective or so I've noticed because sometimes I get some pretty varied results with talking about "seafoam green." Sometimes it's really blue and sometimes it's more like a light green.
Paint color charts might be useful, but don't the paint companies try to trademark the names of their particular paint colors? Because two super similar reds from different house paint companies can get called something different. Artist paints seem to have more standardized color names like cadmium red, ultramarine, colbalt blue, etc. But I don't actually know that many non-artists who know what I mean when I say cadmium red and they'd probably call it firetruck red or bright red.
._. though maybe I'm a bad person to talk about color. One of the previous versions of my current novel was so devoid of color that the narrating character could have been color-blind.
What would you think about a kid and his parents if you see the kid using a bear rug as a security blanket? So far no one in the story has said anything about it.

So, what's the difference between this thread and "General Writer's Block Thread
"? Because now I am wondering whether I posted my question
in the wrong thread.

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Isn't catching arrows pretty much impossible though? Unless the character has help from some kind of magic. Or a healthy dose of Rule of Cool.
I think, the Myth Busters busted this once.
Love truth, but pardon error. - VoltaireNo, it's possible, just unlikely at human level. But Charles Atlas Superpower. It isn't too much of a stretch.

<(-_-<)(>-_-)> "FUSION HA"Sure, no reason not to. Team Mom is more a characterization than an age-related thing.

Okay, maybe I should have posted my question here, then. Should I redact the question from the other thread, or leave it as it is?
I have a WIP Neon Genesis Evangelion fanfic where I'm planning to have Misato be 190 cm tall . Yeah, there is a good explanation for that that does not involve a lame Hand Wave, but that would be telling.
Anyway, the Question that is currently stumping me is... Is it possible for Misato to have Funbag Airbag happen between her and 145-cm-tall Rei while both are standing?
Note: I really wish there was an easy-to-use character/human body-modelling programme around. It would've saved me a lot of trouble on imagining how certain physical proportions would look like.

Of course! I've seen plenty of examples of that, especially in anime. Let's see here, Bleach, CLANNAD..okay, fine not plenty, but you know where I'm going with this. Heh, in my real life, the youngest member of my Five-Man Band is actualy the Team Dad
Kinda late, but if you want colour names without resorting to a possibly patented palete, you can check the list of web colours
which includes open standards such as HTML and SVG with agreed definitions for terms such as "Indigo", plus heraldric paletes
, which use terms brought from other languages such as "azure". Which reminds me: check other latin-derived languages.
I've read, but not been able to verify, that Pantone and such companies have been denied full control of their colour names because they have been using some preexisting terms.

◊. At 7.5 heads tall, your 190 cm character has a "head" of just a hair over 25.3 cm. Her nipple line should fall about two 'heads' down from the top of her head — at about 50.5 cm short of her total height — right at the top of the other character's head. If she's generously endowed, the nipple line will be a little lower, at optimum Funbag Airbag height.
Hum... I think my character's team isn't that balanced personality wise. Since some people have yet to be created...
Would it be too dumb if I used one of emsembles (Five-Man Band, for example) as a guide? There would be way more to the characters, but...
