So I'm into my second Sybreed album now, the debut Slave Design. Overall it's quite weaker than its follow up Antares, but then there's songs like this:
God. DAMN. That ending.
Also while being an "industrial" metal band, at least they treat electronic elements as an integral part of their sound rather than bells and whistles. And I haven't encountered four to the floor hard bass drum sections anywhere in their music yet. Win.

(and no, it's not a leak, even though there IS a leak... the stream is from Sumerian themselves)

No regret shall pass over the threshold!Okay, I've seen a few pages on this site describe Nevermore as "djent". I've never heard them described as such anywhere else before (got-djent.com doesn't list them for example). I'm not a fan of djent or Nevermore, but I'm still interested to know whether they belong with the scene or not.
For we shall slay evil with logic...Alright, I finally got me the Senjyu CD from Cyclamen. I also have eyes for Ashura, but I'm taking a break from all the CD buying I've been doing. It took me 3 years to get this, but I got there in the end. I keep worrying it'll be over before I know it, but I don't think that'll be the case. Don't like how little attention Hellrise got through.
Also, I have no idea if this counts, but anyone listen to Stealing Axion? I listened to Moments yesterday and it was as great as ever. They're nearly finished with their second album although I think their funding thing on Gofundme is still up. I can't wait for it.
MY DANCE MACHINE STARTS TO REACT

Woah. Colour me excited.
