Good reminder of how powerful Spender actually is too.
Joke? Why are you calling it a joke? You drew a picture of two dudes hugging and wrote "I love hugs!" on it.Is this how Isaac gets Cat Nine?
Writer, or something.Consortium agent powers yaaay. Popova's matryoshka deal seems neat.
Joke? Why are you calling it a joke? You drew a picture of two dudes hugging and wrote "I love hugs!" on it.The triumphant return of the comic's best character.
Also Walker again, he's fun too.
Mostly does better things now. Key word mostly. Writes things, but you'll never find them. Or you can ask.Yeah, Popova seems fun. Although probably best not to think about how her power practically works too much.
Poor dice guy.. actually, a lot of the Agents seem to have powers that, although sometimes useful, kind of suck. tracks with Boss Leader's list of spectral powers she suggested she could give Max in place of his Grudge.
...Cinny Stix? Sounds tasty. Does she think she's never used her powers, lol.
Writer, or something. The alt text says yes. Which is presumably why she thinks she doesn't make mistakes.
"Canada Day is over, and now begins the endless dark of the Canada Night."Dang, missed the text. That Zack's a mind reader
Writer, or something.I really need to work on my backlog here but its much easier to work on comic backlog than fiction one ^^;
Yeah, a lot of these agents have pretty wild powers. Probably pretty limited social options.
Nice, we'll be seeing Spender's spirit fusion in action!
And we may have learned the name of Max's Mother?
...Wait, why is her husband listed under "love interest" rather than "family"? For a dead character?!
Joke? Why are you calling it a joke? You drew a picture of two dudes hugging and wrote "I love hugs!" on it.I dunno, maybe that's the Fandom wiki etiquette, Family for blood relations (and adoption, step-relations, etc.) and Love Interests for romantic relations as a categorical thing, rather than marriage or other sufficiently serious relations moving into the Family category. It pretty clearly doesn't reflect being a love interest in-story as like, the trope of a character who is in a romance arc with another character, since that wouldn't make sense.
It's not like he's listed as Mr. Puckett (love interest), it is still (husband). Actually (husband, former) which, I guess "former" is an accurate way to put "widowed".
Mostly does better things now. Key word mostly. Writes things, but you'll never find them. Or you can ask.More exposition. More Spender cheesiness. And no Isaac. Yet.
I'm putting my money on a Mood Whiplash splash panel in which Isaac randomly bumbles in.
Writer, or something. However it happens, we have to take into account that Catnine got inside the barrier somehow - and if Isaac got possessed outside the barrier, he wouldn't be able to go inside and the Consortium would be unwilling to let him.
So there's going to be a bypass somehow.
Actually, a possessed Isaac could pass through the barrier up until he developed into a proper Spectral from the exposure. Johnny encountered Forge outside the barrier and then, post-possession, walked back in.

Mostly does better things now. Key word mostly. Writes things, but you'll never find them. Or you can ask. Finally caught up on all the text updates! I was very leery at first, but wow, Zack has a good prose style. Not literally the best I've ever seen, but definitely better than I was expecting.
Considering Catnine's personality, it's pretty clear why the Activity Consortium doesn't want him knowing anything through Isaac. But he already knows there's some organization, so you would think that Isaac could at least be told "there are things we can't tell you as long as you're possessed. Which will be a long while, because he's a pretty strong spirit."
Maybe it's Spender's fault again.
page. Now I see why Zack wanted to post these last two pages as one.
Compare the endings of the two pages. It's basically the visual/prose version of a Dark Reprise. Two goodbyes through windows before driving away, but with contrasting tones and visuals. Even the shirts (red vs blue) and the "noise" in Spender's head.
