When I tell the GM I want to play a tank, he assumes I mean the damage-soaking kind.
He does NOT assume I'm talking about an actual tank, with three different kinds of cannons and the firepower to destroy a small nation.
Furthermore, even if he is okay with that, he assumes I'm talking about the PILOT of a tank, not a possessed, sentient tank with a smartass attitude and a soothing Russian baritone.

Mura: -flips the bird to veterinary science with one hand and Euclidean geometry with the other-- If I make a grotesque giant zombie / Flesh Golem, I should have a better reason than "I had a dozen corpses and some free time".
- If I am falling to my death, I cannot give my allies an extra second to catch me by performing a haymaker on the ground.
- Even if I have higher strength than my invulnerable ally, I am not to use him as a blunt instrument.
- I will not invest all my points in a single-use, one segment density control power with no corresponding strength bonus just to see if I can create a black hole.
I am no longer allowed to use 40k battlecries in games not part of the Dark Heresy gameline. Not even as my ex-Coalition headhunter in Rifts, and no, going into battle with a 2 handed chainsaw sword changes nothing. This applies doubly if the character I'm playing is supposed to be stealthy.

This is a signature. There are many like it, but this one is mine. Can't wait till I get into one of them 3.5 games, so I can start adding to the list myself.
Not allowed to offhandedly comment on the smell when the high leveled kobold wizard is talking to us. Not allowed to mention the high leveled kobold's (dead) brother when the high leveled kobold wizard is talking to us. Not allowed to mention the wand I stole from the high level kobold's (dead) brother when the high leveled kobold wizard is talking to us. Not allowed to speak when the high leveled kobold wizard is talking to us.
Pre-emptively not allowed to use diplomacy on the other wizard to make him use the wand that I "traded" for with the high leveled kobold wizard. Yes. It has every appearance of being a wand of Fly. Yes. It might be a trap. No. Your character would selfishly guard that thing and resort to use it when it would seem beneficial. Yes. We are being meta as fuck about this.

Not allowed to set up a company FOR REAL that is named after a major family House/ Corporation in Traveller, and put a codicil in my will leaving it to a descendant in the same years as the game is set, who must be named after my PC, then have my PC walk into the offices and claim his birthright.
Because apparently things don't work like that in real life.

Do the job in front of you.Yes, the DM knows about Rule 50; no, I am not allowed to use an image of Applejack as the pog for my new horse. Some things are appropriate to mix ponies with, this campaign is certainly not.
