I stumbled across this just now on Youtube.

Wikipedia lists them as "punk jazz", which makes my head hurt trying to comprehend, but I like how the actual song sounds, so, eh.

^ Technically, The Boys Next Door was Nick Cave's first band, but they were the members of The Birthday Party playing tamer music, so you're basically right.
