Genesis Springs is a fairly small town, all told, with a population of some five thousand people. It is located smack-dab in the middle of nowhere, surrounded on all sides by vast, grassy plains that go on for miles in every direction; the only way in an out of this town is a lengthy, poorly-maintained road that winds through the verdant desolation for quite some distance before eventually joining up with a highway somewhere along the line.
Befitting its name, a spring of clear, natural water lies at the heart of the town, and in all its two-hundred year history, it has never run dry. Genesis Springs is also known for one other landmark, that being its college; this institution—known rather imaginatively as G.S.C.—has been educating the town's youth for the last fifty years, and in those five decades it has churned out a good number of well-educated, respectful young men and women ready to take up any number of vocations.
Other notable features of the town include its high school (which doubles as the local sports arena), its cineplex (which screens movies that hit other theatres five years earlier), and a curious building which seems to vanish and reappear whenever it pleases. No one knows who owns this quaint little shop or why it always seems to have moved to a different location, but general consensus is that it's haunted, and as such most people give it a wide berth; those curious or foolish enough to try and break in after dark are mysteriously never able to find it.
The Danse Macabre CodexMy time zone is Eastern Time,
which means that I am three hours ahead of the forum clocks (for example, right now it says that it's 3:28PM, but for me it is 6:28PM).
I should warn you guys, though, that I have university classes on Tuesday evenings, Wednesday evenings, and Friday and Saturday mornings; during these classes, I do not have access to the internet, so on those days my time for this game will be limited.
That said, every other day of the week I'm pretty much free.

The Danse Macabre CodexMetatron's Cube is a dimension based on the sacred geometrical figure of the same name.
Like any good otherworldly plane of existence, it has multiple levels, each one being an immense, hollow framework of a different polygon. Each line segment of these polygons is several miles thick, and stretches for hundreds of kilometres along its length; where they converge, the terrain gets weird and the laws of physics get loopy.
In-story, the godlings refer to it as the Cube by dint of the fact that its first, outermost layer is of a cubical shape; that said, subsequent levels become far more complex polygons. These levels are nestled within one another like a series of geometric babushka dolls; if one stepped close to the edge of one of the Cube's line segments and looked down, they would just be able to make out the faint image of the next level—an octahedron—at its core.
Thus, to reach the next level one has to find some way to descend. Leaping off does not work; if someone were to try that, they would fall for a bit and then suddenly reappear in the exact spot where they had jumped off, and during their fall they would not have gotten anywhere near the next level. The characters will have to figure out a means of descending for themselves.
How many levels does the Cube have? It is a mystery...

The Danse Macabre CodexOnce they reach the Cube, yes. Regardless of whatever languages they might have spoken in life, the godlings will be able to speak with and understand one another with perfect clarity once their essences awaken.

Took care of the just now, Bindlestick. I meant to do that earlier, but I needed to go eat and it slipped my mind; sorry about that.
Quite likely, yes. In the presence of figures from their own mythologies, the characters may begin to experience powerful sensations and memories from their essences' past.

The concept of this game is explained in detail here.
If it strikes your fancy, feel free to drop by the Sign-Up thread and whip up a character.
EDIT: We now have a Trope page, which can be found here.
